  • Please stop making reviews your voice is annoying

  • stop hating there drinks are freaking awesome

  • @sommertyme2008 your opinion. It's just marketing lies in my opinion. Again, with green smoothie ther is not even one leaf of spinach, or 1 floret of broccoli in it. as per the bottle "Bolthouse Farms® Green Goodness® starts with wheat grass, spirulina, spinach and blue-green algae" not even half aleaf of psinach is ocnsidered spinach? I agree to disagree.

i think amek your own is best or arthurs aren't made form concentrates.... contd.

  • @lukehard242 I'm not trying to derail the thread but I used to live in Bakersfield, CA where Bolthouse farms is located. We used to buy this all the time and it seemed to be ok. 52oz bottle for $3.00.

Anyways I moved to NYC and I went to Whole foods to buy it and when I got it home it was watery.

There is a definite difference between the ones they sold in California and the ones they are selling here in NYC and also a difference in the way it makes me feel. It no longer gives me energy :(

  • @danie123182 interesting, I had never heard this before. best is make your own or if on the go try another company, why pay for nutrients that aen't even really ther, kind of similar ot buying sugar water?

  • @sommertyme2008

"Concentrates are made by taking a fruit juice, heating it to a high temperature and evaporating off the water. This leaves a thick syrup that is only a fraction of the original juice volume. Concentrates are packed in drums and shipped across the world and stored for long periods of time. At the bottling stage, water is added back in to bring the juice up to its original strength – but not its original quality or nutritional values. Arthurs=only real fruit with real nutrition

  • who is hating here?

    Dear ,

It has come to my attention that the owner of Bolthouse Farms, William Bolthouse, has just donated $100,000 to the campaign to push back the marriage rights of LGBT people in California. As a consumer that cares about what I put in my body, I can not buy Bolthouse Farms organic products whose profits would then be used to take away the rights of myself, friends, allies, family members, and co-workers.

For that reason, I will no longer buy Bolthouse Farms (contd)

  • @sommertyme2008 products and I will encourage your distributors to stop distributing your products.

Your primary owner, who owns 43% of the company has decided to use the money, the profits he receives from your company to impinge and take away the rights of a group of Americans.

I will not be a party to this disgusting behavior. This email serves as notice that I will not buy Bolthouse products.

    Sincerely,

    name.

  • Blah blah blah. Drinks awesome :)

  • @psychotomb Your opinion, thanks for sharing, I'll stick with arthurs who doesn't use concentrate and use real fruit instead. :)

  • I knew it!!! I just knew it!! It took over 8 minutes to get to the real truth of why you are telling people not to drink it. You could have saved our time and just put the last part of the video up.

  • @RubberWilbur continued....all of their drinks are made form concentrate when compared to rival Arthur's,

"All of Arthur's® Smoothies are not from concentrate. Concentrates are made by taking a fruit juice, heating it to a high temperature and evaporating off the water. This leaves a thick syrup that is only a fraction of the original juice volume. At the bottling stage, water is added back in to bring the juice up to its original strength – but not its original quality or nutritional values.

  • @RubberWilbur Hope this helps to simplify as much as possible. Do not have nutrients levels as per what said on bottle and note *******Bolthouse farms used from concentrate, other comapnies as one example Arthur's Juice does not.****= WAY MORE NUTRIENTS- labeling done is BEFORE heating, removing actual real fruit/veggies.

Thanks again for your real feedback, be well whatever one chooses.

  • the Bolthouse farms drinks are definitely an appetite suppressor. I use to drink a lot of soda, but drinking one of these in the mornings gets rid of my sweet tooth. I also like to freeze these and take them to the gym. Delicious.

  • @RubberWilbur Thanks for your comment, I will respond to both of them. Not sure what you mean about appetite suppressor. I think it's important to eat and drink as the animals do and they don't suppress anything, but again whatever works for you.

Glad it works for you but it isn't the best nutrition you can get, it's marketing, again do the research yourself of what is actually in the drink, "spinach" as an example in their drink yet not even one leaf of spinach is in it. Fresh is best but...

  • I was looking at a label of the bolthouse farm protein thing, and i saw all these weird concentrates. even the protein was partially concentrated. it was supposed to be the mango version and i followed one of your other videos on like the green goodness and i bought some kiwi and a bag of carrots and whatnot. also, i was doing a little research on cereals and yogurts. yoplait has all high fructose and sucrose in it. sure it might be light, but take a look at the thick and creamy one. deadly stuf

  • @madmouse43 Good to know, I don't doubt it has all that stuff in it! I don't eat yogurt, but that sutff is really bad for us, there are healthier choices. I don't buy bottled smoothies often but one I found has bit better ingredinets, was their competitor ARTHURS, though I don't know if they sell it outside Canada. I have never bought Bolthouse farms since the making of this video and never will again! Shame how many fall for thier marketing/packaging.

    Spread the word!!!

  • update** tried ARTHURS green smoothie instead and fond it to be better and more honest ingrredients but if you can MAKE ONE YOURSELF! :)

  • What do you know of the bolthouse farms "protein plus" 64g 32fl drink? same deal?

  • @madmouse43 Thanks for your comment! Interesting that bolthouse farms has since not got back to me (ie, won't admit to their lies on packaging). from what I see it has lots of "natural crap in it". by the wya their soy is NOT organics (I dont htink eveything needs ot be organic) however! Thier marketing is such lies.

That's largely because many processed foods contain soy. Half of North America's soy crop is genetically engineered.

    contd...

  • The term "genetically modified" refers to the alteration of genetic material. Specifically, it means the genes of one organism have been "cut out" and then "pasted" into another organism.

I make my own smoothie with silk soy milk, which is readily foudn in gorcery stores ( I liek vanilla one) contains b12 and is NOT geneetically modified. YOu might as ell buy that is my opinion, much healthier than the crap in bolthouse farms. If you tel me which flavour of protien,I can check

  • @madmouse43 ...silk soy milk cleaned up their act as they used to have gmo soy (ew!...look it up it's pretty nasty),

Silk products contain only soybeans grown without genetic engineering, right here in North America. We employ robust quality-testing protocols to detect GMOs, pesticide residue and other potential contaminants. This ensures that our beans meet the highest standards of quality, consistency and safety. In fact, our rigorous standards exceed our industry's regulatory requirements.
