Ron Paul was very dishonest of The View (Dec. 4) and wouldn't admit his position on abortion

until they cornered him. He answered their very direct questions with ludicrous

questions of his own, eventually suggesting there's no difference between an

abortion in the first month and one in the 8th month, then retreated behind

"let the states decide"--he sounded like a typical texas politician to me

What Dr. Paul did was get Joy Behar to admit that there is a difference between abortion in the first month versus the 8th, and that is why he personally opposes it, which was clearly stated, and that he would never use his personal opposition as President to allow a Federal Ban against abortion but rather let the states decide.

actually, she refused to "admit" that because it's just not true. One is a fetus and the other a fully formed baby, though technically still a part of the woman's body until the umbilical chord is severed. Letting the states decide abortion is not morally superior than letting the federal govt decide. So either RP is loony, or you feel it will be easier to bully people locally and get your way on the issue. You'll probably be captain of the pussy police.

Joy Behar said that aborting a healthy baby in the 8th month is "murder," so how is that anything but admitting that there is a difference between 1st and 3rd trimester abortions? Why are you saying that's not true? I think we are saying the same thing. Some people prefer issues such as abortion to be decided at a local level. That way they can live among like-minded people or they think that they can hold politicians more accountable locally vs. in Washington.

Technically "no" if you mean "stop." I suppose anyone can be stopped, at least temporarily. But if you mean it in the "Abortion" sense, then yes it is too late. They have already been removed from the womb and their umbilical chords severed, making them distinct entities from the mother. Plus, I think any abortion after the 4th month is immoral.

Ron Paul and Kucinich would be an absolute victory. Not even a Hillary/Obama ticket can oppose that much truth and integrity.
