  • great vid it helpd alot

  • my insightful enchanter doesnt work for alchemy or smithing but works for everything else.

  • ლ(ಠ益ಠ)ლ hey it's ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)'s brother

  • You can also increase your smithing more if you get the enchantment from notched pickaxe which is an easter egg placed on the highest stop of the world [ off road spot near throat of the world highest you can get] that special enchantmenet increases your smithing a little and does some shock damage if i recall corretly so you can make even more powerfull upgrades.

  • max enchanting potions i can make using alchemy bonuses is 22% any idea why it doesn't go any higher :/?

  • great vid was looking for this for some time now! make more !

  • Just a heads up, you can get most of the ingredients (Except the Blue Butterfly Wings) at Angelic's Aromatics in Solitude. xD

  • Been to Blackreach by the way? you can mine up Soul Gems (you probably knew this) ;D

  • a TIP u could make the last items Alch/BS with 29% on 1 item, so make Alch on Helm, BS on Armor, and Alch/BS on Glows+ ring + neck so totaly u use 5 GRAND soul gems not 8 :D

  • only 20%, not 25%.....Why?

  • @polis001 same here

whats going on? i think it might be 1.2

  • @sumkid583

I think it works only for pc, not console. certainly not for xbox

  • I forgot to mention one important thing, as claimed in the video make sure that you're using grand/black soul gems and make sure that they're FILLED with GRAND SOULS and nothing less. If you buy them from the store I don't think you need to worry about that but if you're soul trapping on your own always check what soul is in the gem.

  • Epic video xD but jesus 680 x 6 damage xD That's sick xD

  • to make 25% from scratch do u have to be an orc, due to the +5 enchant skill?

  • @Guitar0wner I wanna know too pls some one help...

  • Olso dont forget blessing of goods, wich give you 10% crafts someting.

Also, i think there is 40% enchnanting bonus potion someimes at alchemy stores.

  • how come i can only get to 20% when i have all my skills maxed?

  • I see, so I stop at 29% alchemy armor. I guessing u got the 100%+ improving armor potions from 4 alchemy armor and 32% potions. right?

  • just for the record i got tired of waiting 48 hours to buy sould gems from farengar, so i only increased my alchemy/enchanting to 29% and got the same outcome as you(29%/130% increased fortify potions)

  • Yo man I would just like to say GREAT VIDEO. Steps are clear and concise, no fucking around with running etc you only showed the important parts, great video

  • A soul gem that never gets destroyed is called Azura's star (or The Black Star). Google (or YouTube) "Azura's shrine" to find out how to get this star through a very easy quest :)

  • 685 x 15 sneak

that is a lot of damage

  • @fishspidery Daggers only

  • hey uh, so the one handed damage enchant doesnt work with daggers?

  • I read somewhere that patching the game would solve the +20% Alchemy issue, so might want to try that.

  • @Patrask Thanks! Worked for me

  • I have 100 enchanting, alchemy and smithing with all the perks i need. When I make the first set of Alchemy Boosting gear i only get 20% boost. If I try the process I get stuck at 22% Gear. anybody know the problem?

  • @yoshi82412 are you using grand souls for everything? I think if you use any less it drops like 5% per tier or something.

  • You really should get dressed before leaving the house

  • You say "apparel" funny.

  • For some reason I couldn't stop cracking up when you said

"I am dressed, I have my helmet on."

I've been looking for a video like this for a long time, and thank you so much for posting it.

    :D

  • If you are orc you also gain the berserker rage power, wich gives you double damage.

  • Game. Breaking.

  • Haha wow man, awesome. Agree with other commenters - good voice, very clear.

  • Can you use black soul gems?

  • @EricLPie You can use anything that has a grand soul in it, but it has to be a grand soul in the gem.

  • So the game is bugged. I did the math myself.

First run is 80% Alch so .8 * 15 = 108% Alch so 1.08 * 15 = 31.2% Alch but the game isn't picking up on that for some reason.

  • How do you get 25% on the first batch of armor? Max is 20. And even with using potions for enchanting it only goes to 22 which gives +28% pots and that's where it stops improving. I'm doing everything you did step by step, have the perks and still can't manage this.

  • @DGVictus update game to patch 1.1, i was having same problem as u before.

  • For those who are stuck: I am playing in skyrim on pc with version 1.1.21.0. I start by enchanting some gloves, helmet, ring, and amulet with 25% alchemy. I then use these items to make a potion of 30% enchanting. Remember- while using these potions YOU HAVE TO BE FAST ENOUGH and make the enchantment before the time expires. You only have 30 seconds when you use the potion and the time DOES COUNT WHILE YOU ARE IN THE ENCHANTING WINDOW.

  • @tidomann This is why I use 4 of these potions to make FOUR new pieces with 28% alchemy. I use 1 potion for each piece of clothing I enchant.I use those pieces to make a 32% potion. This makes 29% Alchemy armour. This is where the cycle stops.

  • I just tested this again on my main character, and a new character by adding all the proper perks, and skills and items through console. I don't know where you are getting other numbers. If you are getting differant numbers- please post what system you are using- what version it is. I cannot confirm this on xbox or ps3. Remember to always make ALL 4 pieces FAST ENOUGH so the potion doesn't expire. Have all perks (Enchanter 5/5, Alchemist 5/5, Benefactor, Insightful Enchanter) and skills at 100

  • @tidomann I am sorry to bother you but I have followed all the steps. (Had a mishap with perks so had to console these in) but my base "Enchantment of Fortify Alchemy" is 20% where as your is 25%, could I of done console wrong? I have the 6 enchantment perks and 6 alchemy perks, used the same ingredients but still get a base 20% Any help would be amazing.

  • @BetaMaleTim Have you made sure that you're lvl 100 enchanting and alchemy? because every level counts towards the percentage, it isn't enough to have the perks alone. I learned this the hard way by making enchantments at lvl 90 that only reached 23% or so.

  • @tidomann i was able to get my armor to +31% Fortify Alchemy and Smithing...

  • @tidomann People most likely got different numbers from having the wrong alchemy armor equipped(i did this by accident the first time.) I followed your guide and it worked perfectly fine. Thanks!

  • @tidomann

I can get Fortify Smiting Potion to 147% with what I call Krosis glitch on PC.

    1. Equip Falmer Helm (Fortify Alchemy) and Krosis

    2. Save and Reload.

    3. Equip Daedra Helm (Fortify Alchemy) it going to replace Krosis but leave Falmer Helm untouch.

Now you are Equip with 5 pieces of 29% Fortify Alchemy

*I have not test with any other Helm than Daedra Helm maybe you can replace Daedra helm with any other helm*

**have not test that there any difference if start doing this from 25%**

  • @OblivionNe It is possible with any circlet. You dont need to reload and mess around, just craft a circlet with alchemy, a falmer helm and the rest of the set per usual.

  • my potions wont go over 30% and my armor is stuck at 28%

    help :(

  • 100 enchanting + perks + grand soul gives me +20% created potions ,not +25% as u demonstrate : /

  • FUS RO DAH

  • I can't seem to get this to work. Once I get the armor to +13% Alchemy, the potions I make still only are +23% Enchanting, resulting in just +13% Alchemy, and the cycle stops there...

  • And you didn't even apply a poison. Lulz

  • Awesome guide, I just want to let you know that you CAN smith the "Blade of Woe" Which is a dagger. I got it to a 167 damage dagger, plus the 15x crit you can get from sneak attacks. That's a 2505 damage sneak attack that could probably insta-kill anything in the game lol

  • holy shiieeettt this can create strong stuff. Wouldnt call iot OP though because it takes so much time and money to be able to.

  • my fortify enchant potion only increases by 15%

  • @AnonHateMachine same here. Also fully maxed enchanting and even with the 15% potion the alchemy enchant reaches 22%. Don't see where you get 25% without potion from.

  • good video. thanks for skipping the boring parts :-)

  • 1:41 "You might want to get dressed before leaving the house"

  • Good video, but my Enchanting potion doesn't work correctly, what is your version of the game?

  • It's dah-gur, not day-gur.

  • @GirlCraft And he says apparel wrong too, but its ok.

  • @MattCat8 Ah-Pair-Rel. I realized that one later too.

  • Awesome video!

For someone starting a new character, would you advise going straight Alch/Enchany/Blacksmithing and completely ignoring combat perks? Won't that make questing and even farming for those mats super hard?

  • - Good voice

    - Explaining everything step by step clearly

    - Great video and sound quality

Why are you not making more videos? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ)

  • @TheSnufking cus he cant use his lightsaber... its now just a stick with fire at the tip...

  • I feel like I just sat through one of my lectures. I only need to find that smithing enchantment somewhere.....

  • how do you get the fortify alchemy enchant?

  • @letmeinyourhome You have to find a magical item that already has that stat and then disenchant it. Try checking vendors. I found most of my enchants from the quartermasters in imperial or stormcloak camps.

  • I am dressed, I have my helmet on.
