This is perhaps my favorite song. The meaning: "I saw you this morning..." Two years ago I fell in love with a beautiful woman; but for reasons I cannot go into, the relationship ended. But I still see her (in my mind) and by some standards what we did was wrong, but "it's not black and white" as Leonard Cohen says.
