  • The nature of science is that observations are pretty irrelevant unless they can be consistently repeated & measured. If something's "true" once, it does not make it true 400 times. So the idea that the "orthodoxy" of science barred his predictions from reaching any light is irrespective of how science actually works, and what actually makes it effective in the first place. Science and religion are not the same thing.

  • there are no secrets here, thanks for wasting every bodies time.

  • the good professor was just iching to make a video, so he made one.......

  • scientists have created another religion that they follow blindly in order to save thier status in the scientific community.... this is absolutely true..... No different than the Vatican.... unfortunately....and if anyone has a radical or revolutionary new theory, they will excommunicate the revolutionary and bury any evidence he may have and label him a "loon."

so much for science and truth......

  • @TheEthereallotus Ignorant comment. First, very few scientists believed Einstein. Then he was given the Nobel Prize. The same goes for Hubble and two of the scientists who recieved the 2011 Nobel Prize. If scientists who had new ideas were excomunicated, science would come to a halt. It hasn't.

    Rubbish.

  • @YDDES its called an analogy, dill hole.... you know what I meant...

  • @TheEthereallotus No, unfortunately I don't relly know what You meant. What DID You mean?

  • @YDDES That mainstream science largely ignores or ridicules those with ideas outside the box and some will often bury eveidence that contradicts the status quo... I know that youtube often makes individuals behave like cocksuckers but maybe you will stop now... thanks...

  • @TheEthereallotus Well there's also Fleischmann and Pons and their "cold fusion". They weren't ignored despite the fact that no one, not even themselves, could replicate their "results". I think You are wrong. And You have a very bad language...

  • @YDDES well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion..... bad language? because i mentioned something about sucking on roosters? You have a bad mind.....

  • @TheEthereallotus LMFAO.

  • @MrCriticOfAll

Hey look, it's one retard laughing at another.

  • @DreddDwarf And you joined in because you are retarded too?Yes/no?

  • @MrCriticOfAll

No, I'm here because you're retarded.

  • @DreddDwarf Go fuck your self you petty little person and find a whale to hug before the Japanese get to it.

  • @MrCriticOfAll

Fortunately I'm far too mature to be intimidated by your sexual fantasies about me.

I'm also sure that you're an exception within the internet sexual deviant community and you don't masturbate to pictures of your mother.

  • @DreddDwarf LOL no your not!!!

  • Hey ,this guy and I have something in common. When I bring it to a scientist attention that creationism is real because we can reproduce those results in a lab via Splicing cloning genetically modifying and programming whole species Like (glo fish) DNA is nothing more than an advanced computer system using C's T's G's and A's. If we can program it, then its a computer. And if we are god to glo fish then it is possible that we have a God. And so long as there is a possibility it can't shrugged.

  • Nice message. I know exactly where you are coming from with it. Paradigm shifts NEVER come about painlessly in the scientific community. History is full of examples of just how ugly things can get amoungst so-called educated and inteligent people. For those on here who do not 'get it' I suggest you read the book, 'A Brief History of Nearly Everything' by Bill Bryson. Very enlightening.

  • This is so true!!! They should teach this in Universities but all they teach scientist is how they know everything! I studied psychology at uni and they are so closed minded to new ideas!

  • @venusarchetype

I actually agree with you there, but then again psychology is more dogma than science.

  • Why did you put that ugly kid at the end?

  • All true, but very long winded for a simple message

  • worst video in history.

  • Astronomy's best secret > KEEP WASTING TAX PAYERS MONEY!

  • @pogpogcasino You won't say that when some astronomer finds an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. That may be in 2036.

Look around, the Earth is full of evidence of past impacts.

    My 2cents.

  • This video is what you get when the poster smokes too much marijuana. Nothing more.

  • So what's the secret?

  • @cartunedbz Are you kidding? Read the other comments.

  • I kinda agree. Top modern scientists are like bla bla bla im very smart and super smart scientist i know this bla bla bla you dont. Im right you are wrong.

Many ppl are taken seriously after their death. It happened in the past, it happens now.

  • What is the big deal about an asteroid hitting the surface of Jupiter??? Of course ...they hit every other Planet...dont understand the significance of this Video at all!

  • @BluesHarp60 It was the first time in modern history that anyone had actually observed this kind of thing happening. And without seeing it, you could never prove it for one of the gas giants like Jupiter.

  • I think you are off base with the video comments. Religion has held back science. Science welcomes new discovery but is not quick to accept it without evidence. If there is testable and observable evidence it will be accepted. In the past it has been embarrassing for science to jump on any new discovery to have it turn out to be a hoax especially when the religious use that one example to ridicule science and ignore the all of the other achievements.

  • It's like the New Testament being written by Romans. Scholars today won't accept it even though there is about 1000 times more evidence for that explanation. It's true.

They would rather search for historical characters in fictional works. Patting each other on the back for coming up with a good explanation. It's fiction you morons, it's Roman satire.

  • @Franknarfable that's interesting. where can i find info about that?

  • @mebe84 - I've read at least 5 different books now that explore Roman authorship and each presented different evidence that supports. Caesar's Messiah is a good place to start and I can summarise much of what is said. Atwill focuses on the ministry of Jesus in the gospels and the reveals numerous parallels with Josephus' Jewish War. The website has a lot of information.

Also, there is the Josephus/Paul problem. Sharing so many similarities that it simply isn't possible they both existed.

  • i like this music! What is it called?

  • @KhanDaPathan A track from one of the better music libraries. We don't know the details off hand because many post-production houses have been sold or gone out of business. The Red Camera and Apple computers have made film and film editing obsolete.

  • Jupiter is mostly a gaseous planet that we've never seen the surface of. So how did that strike prove craters? It proved comets strike planets or explode in their atmosphere.

  • @firejack007 It shows that the formation of the Solar System's planets through accretion is not quite over. And that was the debate.

  • Really enjpoyed listening to Gene and his wife talk during the last 20 or so years. Bloody billiant in my opinion.

As far as the'establishment science' goes, well, their shills and whores (and not the good kind), (see flat earth to AWG).

  • Lateral thinking is easy because it's laterally natural & naturally lateral... (Snicker)

It's likely the so-called dark-matter expert (Snicker) scientists keep losing simply went into black holes yet will still assert gravity on surrounding objects as the scientific law (Snicker) states energy can never be lost but only transferred...

The nuclear weight of the collective matter of an object a black hole swallows may convert into energy yet still retain it's quantum mass & it all adds on...

  • I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say that Shoemaker was "largely ignored." After all, they did name a comet after him and his mate Levy.

  • @Maerahn If you're talking about Shoemaker-Levy 9, that's because they discovered the comet. If you were to discover a new comet, then it would be name after you too. Besides, by then the debate was pretty much over because many of the Earth's hidden impact craters had been discovered.

  • @ProfMichaelson Um... yes, I knew that, thanks :^) That was the point I was making - if they wanted to ignore the guy they could've just been bitchy and given the comet a funky little number sequence like M1234 or something, couldn't they? Like they've done with some of the galaxies - after all, I bet the guys that discovered them didn't have a catalogue number for a surname.

  • exactly what did schumaker reveal that scientists ignored ?

  • @haroos That there had to be numerous impact craters all over the Earth but not as visible as the obvious ones, such as in Arizona. Also that asteroids only impacted with the Earth during previous epochs of the Solar System and there was no risk of it now.

  • @ProfMichaelson so why keep it a secret ?

  • @haroos Because at the time it wasn't what the opinion leaders believed or wanted to believe because it meant human civilization was at risk from an extinction-sized asteroid.

  • @ProfMichaelson i still don't understand why.

  • @ProfMichaelson That's not true... I was being taught about asteroids and comets hitting the earth and how there was a danger of it and how we were overdue for a big one to hit us since I was in elementary school.... A decade before Shoemaker-Levy hit Jupiter... And on June 30, 1908, there was a huge explosion over Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia. It's called the Tunguska Event. Google it. They blamed it on a large meteor or comet exploding in mid-air.... About 90 years before Shoemaker-Levy.

  • @Taricus The Tunguska event went unexplained for a long time, and was not understood as soon as it happened (because there was no crater). By the time of Shoemaker-Levy 9 most people (including your teachyer) had come around because Gene had found many of the hidden craters all over the Earth. But it did put the issue to rest once and for all. You should hear what his wife had to say about it, like iceisnice61 (see his comments above).

  • @Taricus It was written in a book in the 80's... one of those SpOoKy!!! Get'cha think unsolved mystery books... Right next to the ghost chapter. It was about space stuff... and it said it was a comet, not an asteroid. but kinda talked about, "Look what a comet could do and it didn't even HIT the ground yet!!!" So, the idea of more things from outer space hitting was not foreign to us. We just doubted that it would happen in our lifetime... --but we still do that, don't we? *shrugs*

  • what about pluto? they changed their mind radically and quickly

  • Please use your grey matter before posting because there is no such thing as dark matter!

  • "Looked at the Coma Cluster of Galaxies and saw Dark Matter"

Did he have Super Eyes? Anyone who knows anything about Dark Matter will laugh at this video immediately.

  • @gambleyourhealth In Standard American English the verb "to see" can mean "to understand or appreciate." For example, if you tell an American something interesting that he didn't know, he might reply, "Hmm. I see," even though in sensory terms he only heard. See?

  • @ProfMichaelson but the word "saw" means something previously viewed.

If your intention is that "he looked at the Coma Cluster of Galaxies and Understood the CONCEPT of Dark Matter" then it should be worded that way. Because in all versions of English "Saw" is the past tense for a visual Seeing. Otherwise you run the risk of many people not liking your video. It is better to have wording so that all understand the intent rather than most misunderstanding the meaning.

  • @gambleyourhealth After being told what the lyrics of "Waltzing Matilda" really mean, he saw for the first time why that song wasn't Australia's national anthem. The foregoing sentence is not incorrect and would be understood by most English speakers. Maybe not the surgeon in the movie "Malice." But his overly literal criticism of Nicole Kidman's language was the sign of a personality disorder.

  • @ProfMichaelson That makes no grammatical sense to me. And im not being overly literal in my criticism. I mentioned it purely because you have more dislikes on this video than likes and the prevailing opinion from what I have read in the comments is that people see it as me SAW dark matter. (Thats the way it reads to myself and everyone else I have shown this too)

But if you are not open to criticism, No problem.

  • where's the BIG SECRET dumbass?

  • At the rate we're at with scientific study we won't survive much longer.

  • Astronomers have found a powerful quasar from almost 13 billion years in the past. If the universe were only as old as current theory claims, then the supermissive black hole needed to power such a quasar could not have existed then unless it came from something other than the collapse of a super massive star.

  • @ProfMichaelson The sun perhaps? lol

  • weak

  • So the point of this is that Science progresses, but that you aren't happy with that rate of progression? Sheeze. So what? When even evidence is found, it doesn't matter how much someone wants to preserve their notions, science moves on.

  • @fcsuper My dear friend I'm an only amateur scientist and I have all the answers they are looking for but these guys are very arrogant or to far from reality. They want for I give them all for they claim all the glory, I do not ask to much just recognition. I put 32 years of my life into it. I know how life form begins start from atomic level. I'm so eager to share with whole human kind and again I'm not asking to much just an recognition.

  • @Levon9404 There are no absolute answers to be had. Theories are simply working models used to make predictions. Theories change as observations improve. No one owns that. Sure, you might have people taking credit for discoveries where they didn't contribute, but that's a whole different consideration. Its easy enough to prove you are the discoverer (or at least you accepted something long before others): write a book; publish itself if you have to.

  • @fcsuper I know exactly what you mean. It may sounds kind of unbelievable. But I do have all the answers that is why it took me 32 years everything I was going to explain, I made it sure exactly that is what it is. You have no idea how eager I'm to share everything with our human kind. I would like to meat with all scientists round the globe in one place I will be the one answering all their questions. I'm that sure of my self.

  • @Levon9404 "My dear friend I'm an only amateur scientist and I have all the answers they are looking for but these guys are very arrogant or to far from reality"

Eum... Write a paper and publish in an appropriate journal.

The fact that you aren't doing that and instead are whining about it on fucking youtube is pretty much enough to call you on your bullshit.

  • @ScientificBob And which one is appropriate journal name few of them?

  • @Levon9404 That would depend on the discipline you are in: biology, archeology, physics,...

ps: the fact that you need to aks this question, speaks volumes.

  • @ScientificBob it would be physics, I will explain what is pure energy and how that energy becomes gravity force.

  • @ScientificBob Hay Bob I still waiting. I found few American science journals my self but these guys got to be out of their mind. they told me send them everything I want them to publish than they will make decision publish it or not to me things doesn't work like that, but I will find way out.

  • @Levon9404 It's called "peer review", dumbass. An integral part of scientific process. Scientific journals are the way scientists communicate their research and discoveries. Before it gets published, the editors need to make sure that your method is ok, that your conclusions are correct, that your hypothesis is testable and that it matches your data.

If they don't do this, then science instantly stops working as any retard would be able to publish the most idiotic things. Durrrrr.

  • @ScientificBob What kind of asshole are you Bob can't you communicate with out of insulting. You calling me dumbass but you don't know portion of what I know. If among scientists acceptable to insult each other to me is not.

  • @Levon9404 Send them your material: research, data, hypothesis, experiments you did to test your hypothesis, the methods you used, your acknowledgements, potential problems with your ideas, etc...

Your work will be reviewed by other phycisists. This process is entirely anonymous. You don't know who they are and they don't know who you are.

If your work doesn't meet standards, it won't be published AND you will receive feedback on what you need to do to make it better. You don't get a free ride

  • @ScientificBob Whole that will take me a while put together something like that cause all the work I did in secrecy. Now days is hard to trust someone especially does guys motivated for money and fame. But I will do it! I'm not concern about data cause most my knowledge I built over existing data through out the internet. I just combine my discoveries with existing data, and I notice the accuracy of my knowledge dead on the money.

  • @ScientificBob I just would like to add something more, few days ago I saw through the internet NASA's new discovery with small star and planet rotating round of a big star. That shows how accurate it is my knowledge 1000% accurate. I know among astrophysics is not acceptable that kind of language but they will get use to that because it is.

  • @ScientificBob Some point you right if I don't explain clear enough for everybody understand, how I can prove my point if I'm right or wrong. I will explain very clearly only gravity true function start from atomic level always to the point how gravity becomes gravity. I would like to see how scientists round globe will react to that and all will be facts over facts. which one will be appropriate journal for that?

  • THERE = THE POSITIONAL

    THEY'RE = THEY ARE

    THEIR = THE POSSESSIVE

JESUS PEOPLE, SIMPLE ENGLISH IS NOT DIFFICULT. REALLY.

  • The inability to validate a scientific hypothesis is not the same as “ignoring”. The statement: “it takes a long time to change scientific orthodoxy” is only valid in when verification and peer review methods are difficult to reproduce. For example, Einstein published his general theory of relativity in 1905, and could not be tested until 1919. However, it was instantly (for the time at least) an overnight change to Newtonian gravity orthodoxy when it was testable.

  • Damn straight

  • "It takes a long time for new ideas to change scientific orthodoxy." -YES and thank god (scuse my lack of words) for that !!!!

Science seeks to disprove all new hypothesis before they make a big deal about them. It usually takes years and years, but THAT's what makes it reliable!!!!

Creationists don't understand this, they think they can go through legal channels to shortcut their way into the science books.. it's ridiculous, do as everyone else have to !! it's incredibly dishonest!!

  • Comment removed

  • A very good point made in your video! Kudos to you. The 'established' scientific community throughout the ages has always had those who would put down and silence those who would challenge/disprove the current paradigm. Just look at what Heisenberg did to Dirac's equation (and reputation), just to protect his precious Machian belief system.

  • Sadly, the new generation is too busy satiating their senses to care about anything else... we are DOOMED!! Ok, its the end of the world, I'm going to go get drunk and laid. YOU PEOPLE MADE ME DO IT!!

    Thanks.

  • @doceigen Any chance of making up a foursome. I am a very fit 65 year old lol.

  • @PeterTattersall46 Four for cricket?

  • 25 years ago scientists in the Pacific Ocean spawned a black hole in an H-Bomb test. A single shark swam through this before it dissipated due to Hawking radiation. Teleported to another world, it's coming back seeking revenge. Right now, it's larger than our entire universe. In 2012, the collision of worlds will occur, and it will be humunga-shark versus humanity.

  • @cdoftx Isn't this the same plot as the last Star Trek movie? Replace Pacific Ocean with Supernova Star, H-Bomb with Red Matter, shark with space miners... lol

  • The Vatican wiped out a couple of thousand years of history of mankind during their Crusades and Inquisitions. Why would they want to relinquish the power they've had for 2,000 plus years over night? Answer: They will not. They will kill to keep control.

  • Was gonna moan at all the overly pedantic socially challenged dicks picking apart other peoples statements over tiny instances of incorrect technical terminology .......... But after reading some of the batshit from Christian a 'Spiritual' dicks .......... I think we need all the Science pedants we can muster.

  • Just incase you didnt get this shit ramed down your throat enough here it is again. 2012 end of days! and if not im 78% sure that it was ment to be 2024 this 2nd date gives enough time for people to forget we were wrong of 2012 date and come up with a heap of shit stories to prove all mystical about 2024 date.

  • @devilstriangle1

jajajaj yu see alot of movies ignoratn

  • This is just.... silly. Gene Schumaker was a NASA geologist and hardly "ignored" by others. Nobody has "seen" dark matter ever. And, yes, it takes a while to change the views of churches against scientific evidence. I have seen science change radically in my lifetime, so what is your point here?

  • Science, religion, governments all controlled and censored by the elites of the world. They only let you know and believe what they choose to.

  • darwin was right about animals and plants but wrong about humans, nobody else has come up with another decent theory short of alien intervention so darwin's is the most believed, but come on, there are still apes and none of them can sing, paint, do math, talk, build stuff, give them flint and wood and they would scratch their arse with it, if we came from apes there would be a lot more similarities and wierd cross breed's of apes/humans or no apes at all, think about it!!

  • @markzilla6969 thats plain ignorance.

  • @smallfellow , no, i'ts just my opinion and like darwin it's not backed up by book closing scientific fact.

  • @markzilla6969 No, its not knowing and understanding darwins theory, and evolutions theory and the facts on which they are based(genetics mostly). Yes it is your opinion, but based upon ignorance or misunderstanding of the said theories and evidence.

  • @markzilla6969 "and like darwin it's not backed up by book closing scientific fact." Actually, it's not at all wrong to say that Evolution Theory is the most supported theory in all of science.

Evolution, btw, is a fact. DNA mutates and is inherited by off spring. This is fact.

Natural Selection is the actual theory.

  • @markzilla6969 "there are still apes and none of them can sing, paint, do math, talk, build stuff" Epic fail.

"give them flint and wood and they would scratch their arse with it" Sucks to be you: primates (chimps and gorilla's) are known to create tools to more easily catch prey.

"if we came from apes there would be a lot more similarities". Hmmm. Have you looked at a chimp recently? Ever saw a chimp skeleton? I guess not.

  • @ScientificBob 'sucks to be you' ?, 'epic fail' ? are you ten years old? i take it back, YOU probably evolved from a monkey, look, if it were proven that we didn't come from apes then we must be from outer space and since scientists mustn't even mention aliens then we have to believe the next best thing, our skeleton is similar to a sloth as well as many other creatures and of all the nature programs i've seen i've never seen an ape create a tool and why does their head hair not grow long?

  • @markzilla6969 "if it were proven that we didn't come from apes" We ARE apes. Taxonomy 101.

"i've never seen an ape create a tool" Look harder. /watch?v=EaEDeRJKN0s

"why does their head hair not grow long" Because that's a Homo Sapiens trait, Einstein.

  • @markzilla6969 "wierd cross breed's of apes/humans" Australopethicus, ardipeticus, homo erectus, homo ergaster,... Need more? I got more if you need it.

"or no apes at all" Americans come from Europeans. Yet, there are still europeans. Think about it!!

All in all, it's quite obvious that you are pretty oblivious about evolution theory.

  • @ScientificBob america has been inhabited for hundreds of years, humans have been around for about 2million years and when you dig down further there is nothing and then dinosaurs, where are all the skeletons of ape/ humans, MISSING link...

  • @markzilla6969 "america has been inhabited for hundreds of years" Apparantly the analogy went right over your head, unsurprisingly.

You have ancestral population X. This population splits in two (due to geological event, migration of a tribe,...). Now you have two populations of the species: Y and Z. Both go on their own evolutionary path and speciate.

Z are chimps. Y are humans. X is the ancestral species - those are gone.

Your 'why are there still apes' question exposes your ignorance.

  • @markzilla6969 "where are all the skeletons of ape/ humans" I've allready mentioned them, why do you ignore it?

All species belonging to Australopethicus, Ardipeticus and Homo.

Do yourself a favor and google 'human evolution'.

  • @ScientificBob fair play mate, you've obviously had a better education on biology than i did! i just like to ask the questions like 'why havent any other animals learnt to play music or create art?' and 'why are there no massive dino's now even though they evolved before to be everywhere?' i'm sure the answers are out there on google though, didn't mean to get your back up! never seen a chinese looking ape though! hehe.Peace

  • @markzilla6969 That's ok dude. There's nothing wrong with ignorance unless it's willfull.

With your permission, I'ld like to address your questions through PM. They are good questions, but not really answerable through 500-char posts (if you want a complete answer at least).

  • There is NO such thing as Dark Matter - only DARK ENERGY! This is WHAT distinguishes and differentiates western science from REAL science - which is the ACT of MEASURING the DYNAMICS that ANIMATE, DRIVE or INFLUENCE MATTER.

  • This requires a MIND that looks at the ABSTRACT (SPIRITUAL) qualities within nature. This innate quality resides within AfRAkan people who birth the ANKHcient WISDOM called MA'ATHEMATICS!!!

  • I believe the members of the flat earth society are not entirely at fault for protecting the scientific contributions they have made. I understand the intellectual stubbornness as a reflection of the human condition, one that compels us to give up on truth seeking for the temporary reward of finance and prestige. As many misguided men tred the waters of time and slowly drown in ego , a few open minds search for clues to the inconceivable .

  • @brigfiche - "members of the flat earth society" <--LMAO That's putting it delicately.

  • Paranoia: Creationism's slightly less retarded cousin.

  • you cannot see dark matter, you can only say it's their because of the velocity of stars spinning around the galaxy. This video is made up.

  • @81NAG Another way you can see dark matter is by its gravitational lensing, which is how astronomers are finding out its distribution.

  • @ProfMichaelson - "Another way you can see dark matter is by its gravitational lensing" <--This is complete rubbish. You need to be taught REAL science by a Dohgon - the Keepers of the Universe!!! Your information is severely FLAWED. The Dohgon LAW of TRUTH states "If ONE drop of a LIE is added to a BILLION particles of TRUTH, it STILL makes the remaining 999,999,999 LIES!!"

The lies, illusions and deceptions of western civilization has DUMBED humanity and limited THINKING potentials.

  • @ProfMichaelson that's not seeing dark matter, let alone an attempt to describe what it actually is. An evident gravitational effect isn't necessarily produced by any kind of matter at all.

  • @kozmon0t unless, of course, you stick to paradigm thinking. After the shift to general relativism, gravity's effect was a warped-space thing. But while GR holds that matter "warps" space, it doesn't bother showing that it's the only thing that does so, or that space isn't warped or uneven already.

observing a grav effect with no other sign of matter means one of two things:

    1) there must be matter there, or

    2) not all gravity is produced by matter.

but option 2 is a heresy none dare think.

  • @81NAG there no dark matter or anti matter does are all scientists imagination can you imagine scientists still don't know atoms true function.

  • Actually the cold dark matter does not exist... it only appears to be there. Stars do not loose orbit from a galaxy due to the concentration of a river of massive particles on their way out, being opposed by a wind of neutrinos on the way in- which drag those stars because the neutrinos are what cause gravity in the first place. It is a succession of kinetic reactions, all of space is. This is also why pulsars speed up when nearing a black hole. Just when you thought you had the answer haha

  • @mikefromspace - Please slap your brain.

  • @GingerBronze You first.

  • who is this a secret from?

    jesus people don't count.

  • we all have a piece of the real puzzle and until we learn to drop the pieces of our own ideas that dont apply and accept those from other that do apply we will never have the real answer.

Religious views of creation and Darwinian views both have aspects of truth. Darwins theory doesnt outright work and neither does the religious

intent governs how we evolve imo what our species as a whole needs we will get sorta thing

if only some need it then it wont happen, a critical mass thing.

  • @geebus80 - "Religious views of creation and Darwinian views both have aspects of truth. " <---This is the reason why many are misguided. What mathematical formula is religion and Darwin's theory based on???

  • I like the music

  • what a load, dark matter is a theory for explaining why there appears to be so little matter in the universe. how he "saw" it is unexplained on this stupid vague little video.

  • "Science", as it is practiced and promulgationed today, is very much a religion.

  • how could he see dark matter? it's invisible!

  • @Tanmark1998 prolly the same way we see that magic stuff we call air! put something you can see in it and watch it move.

  • yeah, that is often the case but at least progress is made and there really are many scientists out there that are not only skeptical of the completeness of thier own work but of the accepted models of their respective fields in general. The golden standard really is to take nothing for granted though it's difficult to realise in practice due to human weakness.

  • So, true science takes time, careful evaluation and evidence, can't see what is wrong about it.

  • @DarkZholt nothing is really, only idiots would say it's bad. Rushing into conclusions is obviously what they do best.

  • "Nothing is true everything is permitted"

  • which ever way you look at it, you're either putting your faith in man's religion, or in man's science, but it all comes from man in the start so be careful how you devote your time

  • hahaha.. it is very normal to humans to protect there egos and stand for the things they know right.. sure thing, if they will admit that they're wrong their credibility will surely fall and no one will gonna believe them again..

  • @saxabass At one time everything in the Universe was rolled up into tight ball, then we had the Big Bang and a rapid expansion. So at one time all the stars were not millions of light years apart, everything was bunched up together. I dont know how old the Earth is, I believe it's a lot older than 8000 years, but I dont believe star distance is a good indicator of time. Cause the light we see from a star now could have came when the star was much closer.

  • @45ACPGunning

"Cause the light we see from a star now could have came when the star was much closer."

    You, sir, are an idiot.

  • You know, there are ideas like "Does the earth move or is it stationary" and there are ideas like "Can I imagine lines in the sky to predict future". When in this age of technology and free flowing information, the majority ignores you and makes fun of you, it's probably because you are an idiot and your ideas violate the common sense.

  • (Never read the bottom half of the internet folks. Just scroll back up to the video)

  • Hindrance to new ideas has been largely due to the Catholic Church and like-minded religious organisations...including the mainstream indentured scientific community. IMHO.

  • good music choice! not that system crap we hear all over this place.

  • Christ will return soon ,you may speculate how this event will alter your view of the universe( as long as you do it quickly)!

  • @MrNewkingjames Ignorance is bliss, isn't it? You have to read things that don't accord to your own view so that you are better informed, cause its difficult to argue from the other side unless you understand both sides, otherwise you just tend to reinforce your own bias. Zeitgeist [Religion] The Greatest Story Ever Sold, look it up on youtube if you want to open your heart to the truth, but if ignorance is just too bliss for you then I wouldn't watch the video

  • @MrNewkingjames not so much , it seems the devil now owns earth look around, (judgment day) ok i think it would take more than a day processing 6 billon people that would take like 5000+ years the poor dude would be fed up and sick of filling hell with a lager percentage, handing the power to the devil.

you just think about that for a wile ay.

  • Sir, are u asking me to prove there is no god. Instead sir, U prove there is a god. I can easily show u there is no god, simple, call on him to show himself. HE will not show, not in any tangible way at all, will he? No. I however can easily assert that there is NO god just from your LACK of evidence of a god. Good Day Sir.

  • Just because secular humanists say the earth is bilions of years old doesn't mean it is. There is no evicence for an old earth.

  • @1988tq come on dont make me get evidence of the earth's age. The layers alone tell us its wayyyy older than 8000 years old. And dinosaurs and all that. case closed

  • @killaxification Yeah, I've seen these layers that have petrified trees standing up through them. Don't tell me that the tree just stood up for milllions of years while dirt and rock setteled aroung them. Also, the order that the fossils are buried is not consistant. These layers were laid rapidly by a world-wide flood that happend around 4,400 years ago. Take a pile of sand, put it in a glass jar with water, shake it, and see how many layers you get in 10 minutes.

  • @1988tq I'm stunned you believe that.

  • @1988tq How did massive amounts of ash get caught in between the layers? ;) Where did the water come from? How is noahs ark even possible? How did we get the diversity and disparity in lifeforms we get today? Why arent all fossiles in pretty much the same layer?

  • @1988tq You sir, are a moron. Actually, you don't deserve to be called "Sir", just "moron".

  • @1988tq xept the earth it self and all of wat you find in/on it

  • Exactly true. It takes the lifespan of a carreer for a new idea to root. Those in the system will only accept ideas fitting in their framework.

  • well weired!

  • "It takes a long time for discoveries to change scientific orthodoxy"

Firstly orthodoxy means belief, scientists don't 'believe' they prove. Second it doesn't take time, it takes evidence.
