Rage is a great band. There words are more true now then ever in the 90's
In a recent poll at my adjacent, liberal, pro-socialism university...students with above 3.5 GPA's were asked to hand out some their hard work to students who goofed off with below 2.0 GPA's. Any student above a 3.5 GPA would take a 1/2 point hit...and it would be dispersed evenly amongst the slackers. 97% declined. Hmmmmmm.
RATM are fantastic musicians and I think they write very good lyrics, despite that I may not agree with their somewhat politically "socialist" lyrical themes, the majority of the time the lyrics are about questioning what you think you know and thought provocation.

it makes me laugh how folks can say this is there fav band then turn around years later and fight for our country against people that didnt deserve to be fought against (Iraq, Afghanistan) and can still come back PRO-WAR, anti socialism.. or even just check it out for what it is.. and claim... yeah... Socialism is about more than just giving the government more power, it's about making sure that the government is not only for the people, it is also a government OF the people. If it weren't for Vevo, the original artists of the songs would be able to post their music on youtube.
Vevo lags videos, prevents making your own playlists, censors their page comments, and they are one of the main reason we can't post music which wouldn't be a problem.

you know, even though I don't agree 100% necessarily on their political ideology, I can definately respect that they are one of the few bands today who actually have a message to send to the people. @Disturbed2102 No, that's not why we don't have to pay for youtube. We don't pay for youtube for the fact that videos with enough views can have ads on the sides of the videos, and on the videos. Vevo has little to do with it.
If it weren't for Vevo, the original artists of the songs would be able to post their music on youtube.
Vevo lags videos, prevents making your own playlists, censors their page comments, and they are one of the main reason we can't post music which wouldn't be a problem.
