  • @breedingpitmetal

Theres actually many more my friend.. Richard Dimitri, Geoff thompson, Tony Blauer, Lee Morrisson..

  • also good to do is make both of your hands cup like and clap were his ears are he will give you no more trouble

  • I wouldn't do this in a real fight. I don't want to go to prison. =\

  • McCann is not a fraud. Jim Kelly was the fraud.

  • What if I throw an uppercut with my closed fist? Wouldnt that be almost the same?

    Nice vid

  • @JackTheGripper1985 I like your way better- looks to be less likely to break a finger, or a wrist.

  • @Mr9mm4u Not sure if trolling or just stupid.

  • why not just poke him in the eye? ;-) My point is there are many simple and effective techniques to really hurt someone without knowing any MA, it's called "combat" and quite deadly, it's also highly illegal in security work due to being classed as "excessive force" in most countries. Knowing this stuff does NOT give you the right to take someone's life JUST BECAUSE THEY GRAB OUR COLLAR OR LAPEL!

    However..........in a war situation........

  • omg if this guy forgot to turn his head!!!

  • Getting that right it not as simple as the man makes it look.

  • wow keep making these videos this is dame good

  • Good stuff...instead up the palm strike you could also come up with a elbow.

  • this guy is just like my dad

  • That is some nasty whiplash I foresee there.

  • why not a powerfull and deep uppercut instead of the clinchjab?

  • @corporacionmonstruo most peoples' fists aren't hardened enough to strike the jaw. a palm heel is alittle more realistic for the general public. plus with the palm heel you have the open hand to grab, rack the face/eyes mabey even pull hair, and ear, a piercing, or clothing. i'v always taught, soft to hard and hard to soft. palm would be soft, to strike the face which is hard. fist is hard, use it to strike the body which is soft.

  • If any drunk asshole fucks with me I got a 380 thats not even going to leave my jacket pocket before it kills him

  • @699backstab Well now we know SOMEONE got his ass kicked by an American when he was little.

  • @699backstab Get yourself some help

  • Love it...

  • SILAT.........!!

  • omg the simulated attacker almost shits on his pants when he saw that hand right next to his face!

  • "Of all the things Icould do, that's the most damaging", so I'm gonna show it to 14 year olds on youtube. Wunnerful, real responsible.

  • @specom Tbh, I'd show it to 14 year olds, if you know about how damaging it is then as a 14 year old you don't go out to kill someone and maybe you will think twice about it.

  • @stokie22 Well, I don't know how old you are but you are giving 14 year olds a hell of a lot more credit than I do. I see far too many so-called adults who want to learn how to kill and maim people then run around looking for opportunities to use it and claim it was "self defense".

  • I recognize this, especially since he mentioned Fairbairne (like Gerber knife named after). look it up, that upward palm-strike is meant to break the spine/neck,

  • 'Gonna break his neck, - don't know'.

  • this is real street self defense, no rules.

  • I worry that the hand may miss the chin, I guess it will at least clip the chin.

But my next worry is the fingers may get hit.

  • @bushidolovecock miss with the hand? strike with the elbow! I love this guy's 1 shot takedowns

  • yea sure...an open hand uppercut is more dangerous than a fingers-to-throat punch? I cant believe it :S

  • I feel bad for this guy he always demonstrates on. lol

  • @joesav9256 thats jack he lives 4 it

  • @joesav9256 me to lol

  • Kickass!!!

  • this is real fighting, this is so effective and so easy to learn, combatives are pure

  • crap technique

  • @Billy12861 maybe you did it wrong.

  • Has anyone actually ever tried this technique in a real fight? Because I have and I must say that in MY experience this chin jab technique is about as effective as a fart in a jar i.e. not very effective

  • this is way diffrent than a chin jab. a chin jab is ment to shock a person for the next power shot like a hook , or a cross or a hay maker the jab is also used to keep the distance between you and the other guy it is a very usfull tool when used correctly. this move is kind of like an uppercut using the force from you lunging forward using the angal to snap his hed back making his brain bang around in his skull if he had a loose neck and you did it hard enough you could do neck damage

  • In my opinion, this chin jab technique is a joke. Has anyone ever actually tried this technique in a real fight? I have used it twice with zero success.

  • this motherfucker cant fight, hes just complicating shit

  • @1FuckedUpIndividual You earned your screen name. What are you some 14 year old punk? For you to question a Marine Special Ops officer...you are a joke trying to talk tough. Just a little nobody.

  • @TiminPhoenix Very true. "1fuckedupindividual" It seems has no clue to Kelly McCann's real life background and experience.

  • U always know its a good one when u imagine it hittn u and get a bit freakd

  • "Are you gonna kill the guy/break his neck? I don't know" that is probably the best, most intelligent and rational assesment of the outcome of doing a move like this one could say.

Some say "Oh hells yeah, it'll kill 'em" Others "Pfft-no it's a myth it won't 'ever' kill them actually".

I't like Marc "Animal" MacYoung always says about things like this .."It depends..."

  • this move is excellent i am currently teaching it to my wife . great videos , possible the best videos on youtube . hoping to get more of your dvds for crimbo .

    happy holidays

    fracnokrav

  • billy u dont knock out somebody by breaking ur hand and his chin...

u ko sb by shaking the head

  • holy shit.He takes the bullshit out of martial arts

  • @NewZealfighter and you took the words outta my mouth.

Take this guy's stuff over Jim Wagner's any f'n day.

  • @NewZealfighter - exactly! isn't that great?

  • I agree that open hand strikes are easier to learn and deliver with accuracy under stress and pose less risk of injury to your own hand, but in my experience the open hand strike doesn't compare to the closed fist in terms of power when it comes to KOing someone trying to take your head off.

  • its the heal of your hand (hard & harder to break than your fist)) striking foward and underneath their chin. The aim here is to snap their neck backwards, once he is falling backwards hes yours, he might hurt himself on the way down or you keep attacking if you are up against someone who is trying to seriously fuck you up.

  • hybrid combatives, I agree with everything you have stated. But when it comes to knockout power, think about it mate, which would you rather be struck hard in the face by: a good punch with the knuckles or the heel of the hand?

I know which one I would rather be struck with.

  • certainly a clenched fist used as a fierce uppercut is a really good way to knock out an opponent, BUT as a defensive tactics tool without gloves on, the open hand chin jab offers a greater probability in an accurate delivery given that the clenched fist and uppercut are trained with equal time and effort.

I work in the security field and am a Krav Maga and Kali instructor. As A TRAINER and ex-operator of the US Marine Corps you can trust Mr.Mccann's information.

  • billy you couldn't be farther from the truth. The chin jab allows an "instinctive" fast motion of the empy hand to combine a seizing apparatus with an accelerated strike ( ie the hand eye coordination of grabbing a doorknob vs. punching a doorknob). Your reactive targetting will be better with an open hand than a clenched fist, as a "fist" is a taught/learned response;wherein an open hand requires no secondary motor skill action (clenching).

  • when he demonstrated it, it was so close

  • *lowers voice* turn your head to the side man

  • Badger, disrespectful comments like those u just said about me aren't appreciated, and I happen to know a fair bit about fighting actually.

  • LOL@ you bitching about "disrespectful" comments. You're an idiot.

Full-force chin-jabs fuck people up bad.

  • Any opinions of the chin jab and it's effectiveness would be appreciated

  • Billy, The chin jab is a tried and true effective technique. As with most defensive tactics it takes proper instruction and practice to create proper force. If you throw any technique wrong it will not transfer force to its target. Also adding Dempsey"s falling step (When he explains how you launch of the back foot) will allow you to hit with your whole body and not just your arm. You tried this once in a "Street Fight" and did not execute it properly. It is in fact VERY effective.

  • in my experience the chin jab is a lame technique that is hard to land properly and lacks knockout power. The only advantage the chin jab has over a clenched fist is that you are less likely to injure your hand upon contact.

  • billy13024 your full of shit and you have not got a clue about fighting. why would they teach it to SF units if it did not work?? the chin jab works in conjunction with other fighting techniques i.e block a punch with your elbow and then simultaneously apply the chin jab. if you cant put some1 down with a chin jab then you need to take a good look at yourself and learn to fight

  • You have to get REALLY close to have a chance of using this blow> I have used the chin jab twice as a pre emptive strike on the street and thug looked at me and said" why are u slapping". the blow landed full force with accuracy and the guy wasn't even hurt.

  • I've had a few streetfights in my life and I cannot see how this chin jab could be landed so that it caused any real damage. If someone can in swinging with a flurry of punches the chin jab would be impossible to land on the opponent

  • 0:43 i thought he was gonna put his hand in his ball sack and squeeze

  • lol " Most of the time he'll turn upside down" i don't wanna mess with him

  • man the thing about jim grover is that his stuff is simple and it makes sense. too bad he only teaches officers.

  • He only teaches officers? Are you sure?

  • as far as I know he selects civilians for self protection training after careful background analysis of the civilian and you have to be over 24 years old.

  • I see, that is what I figured. By any chance, did you have a way to contact him? I tried his website but I never got a response back from him.

  • I wouldn't know.

  • I did this 2 a kid in school and he went down so fast I couldn't believe it. Thanks. good vid

    p.s. the kid was fine

  • "rapidly articulate his head..."

  • Fairbairn students will want to know that course lesson plans from Camp X were declassified a few years ago and are now in print. They contain notes critiquing a few of the moves detailed in the "Get Tough" manual.

  • Great Video! I understand the need to describe this as a serious/dangerous technique, but I doubt if the aggressor would ever have a "slack neck" when he grabs your lapel unless he is a really cool customer. Fairbairn advocated this move for putting guys down and then finishing them off with kicks and stomps - but then again that was in wartime.

  • the tighter the neck the more damage its gonna do to his spine. and its probably gonna knock his teeth out.
