  • So all you did was just put on the JBA Cat-Back? That sounds awesome for a catback system.

  • yep just the cat back.

  • did you put your phone on the ground to make this video? and make that a mile and a half away with the addition of your stereo...

  • i still don't believe u that u can hear it a mile and a half away

  • Sounds good. How much louder than stock?

  • my gf says she can here me half a mile away, with the windows facing away from the street.

  • @surfinfire2007 Does she often measure mileage with her ears? and we all know the disadvantage women are at with all that estrogen floating around in them at any given time... LOL

Just kidding, but really the JBA sounds great, thinking of buying a CB setup for my Tacoma.

  • hey, nice sound on that wrangler man.

i just bought some banks headers, monster exhaust, and magnaflow cat for my YJ. i got really good deals on it all. got it all for 500.

i also have a k&n cold air intake.

any idea how it will all sound? comparable to what you have on here?

i saw one jeep wrangler vid on here with the banks headers and exhaust and it sounded real good. the vid is called crazy jeep girl or something.

if mine sounds like hers or yours i will be quite content.

  • ur set-up that u explained to me is actually a really good set-up. except for the magnaflow cat, u wanna keep ur backpressure up so u don't loose any low-end torque. usually the catalytic converter and the headers are the two main sources. anyway, it should sound pretty sick, it'll sound more old school v8-ish, not quite as loud though.

  • @earls0512 Where did you get the good deals?

  • @chadness9 4 wheel parts has free shipping if you order it online and ship it to one of their stores.

  • a 6 inch with 35s would be bad ass, u could go anywhere with that. i would suggest doing all of the engine performance stuff first and do the lift with tires last. cause with that much lift it'll start getting expensive.

  • That IS probably the best exhaust setup I have heard for the 4.0 Wrangler. What size muffler did you go with and also did you remove any cats?

  • the muffler is the same size as the stock one. and no i didn't remove the cat, b/c cops here in cali are very anal about that.

  • Ok thanks a lot. I will probably get new headers from JBA and possibly add one high flow cat or remove them. not so many problems with noise here in the fine state of Indiana

  • yeah cali is just about the most liberal state in the union, if u breathe wrong u get a ticket. wat do u drive??? b/c installing headers on the 4.0L is gonna be a pain.

  • I am currently driving a 2001 Jeep wrangler, just got it a two weeks ago. Thats what I figured, they were a pain on the mustang. I didn't do much to my first jeep except lift so this might be a job for somebody with a car lift. What all do you have done to your Jeep?

  • i have an airaid intake, obvi JBA exhaust, helix throttle body, and a few other goodies. haven't lifted it yet, that's the next most expensive step.

  • I will probably get an AEM intake which comes with TB spacer, max energy programmer, exhaust, and lift. I was thinkin 4 inch with 33s but a 6 inch with 35s would be awesome
