@merccc1 You can use the gimp normal map plugin (type that in google to find the download link and the explanation to add to the gimp filter) to creta the normap from your rock texture.
Or to keep working inside blender : map your texture on the object , activate nor for the texture , and bake the normal map...
only this is if i use something lets say a rock texture could work with face aswell it would be wierd doing it this way since the rock will have all the bumps not similar to how the actual texture O.O have it all shiny and poping out on part that the texture would go in like a hole.
select trhe hi-poly one then shift-select the low poly one , in the bake panl set the baking type to normal - tangent , and press the bake button (or ctrl+alt+b).
that's it! there you go showing that no matter how nice zbrush may be, we don't need it as long as we have Blender!
