One is the route you are taking by going to college and getting your CJ Degree. Another is find a local agency you would like to try to go to work for and see if they have a reserve or auxzillary program and see about joining with that to get your start or even a smaller agency that may even hire you and send you through the academy

Cops are all a psychologists dream because to want to be a cop you have to have some kind of mental problems. Some common types of mental issues that cops have are:
- Small guy syndrome (this fits women cops also), they are physically inferior and weak, but given a gun, taser, and pepper spray they suddenly have power and aren't afraid to abuse it.

One is the route you are taking by going to college and getting your CJ Degree. Another is find a local agency you would like to try to go to work for and see if they have a reserve or auxzillary program and see about joining with that to get your start or even a smaller agency that may even hire you and send you through the academy

there is an explorers program in my city but i have to whate until September to get in plus ill be in high school by then to get in i have to be 14-24 and at least in high school but if im 14 in 8th gread i can still get in but can do allot but im 16 now and on planing to become a police officer that is one of my goals in life if you want to be friends send me a friend invite god blees you oh and thank you for the messege

Go online and type in your county/jurisdiction and call the local office to find out about the explorers. Its a paramilitary group that meets twice a month, and let me tell you it helps a lot in the academy application process. Its job experience which gives you an extra boost, plus its fun! check it out man, god bless, Explorer Corporal Cal.

Some of the guys that were in my unit were also police officers. Cops are NO DIFFERENT than any other person. Some are good, some are bad. They CHOOSE to do the job that they do because they are looking for action and excitement.. if they die, that doesn't make them a hero, it makes them a dead human.

i can't thank you guys enough for throwing you're life on the line for are saftey even if it means you're lifes to protecting. my really best friend i have known him sense i was 14 years old he has saved me from him arresting me. he is out their right now patroling in tacoma right now. now i am 21 years old and still alive because of him if it wasn't for him i wouldn't be here today. I pray for their safety every night that whoever is patroling out their would stay safe.

Cops are all a psychologists dream because to want to be a cop you have to have some kind of mental problems. Some common types of mental issues that cops have are:
- Small guy syndrome (this fits women cops also), they are physically inferior and weak, but given a gun, taser, and pepper spray they suddenly have power and aren't afraid to abuse it.
- The abusive cop. These are the bully types that enjoy striking people with batons and using excessive force. (wifebeaters)
