Sure. Three full loaded Warbird can't take out an Akira ou a Defiant. But when the Prometheus attacked: two shots and it blows up. This was again typical for ST Voyager.
First of all, Both the Defiants fired upon the Prometheus, Akira opened fire on the Romulan Warbirds, when the Warbird gets destroyed its by combined phaser fire of all 3 of the MVAM mode of the Prometheus AND a Defiant.
