The last emperor of China, Emperor Yongli of Ming was murdered by Manchus barbarians in 1661. Puyi was no more the last emperor of China than George VI the last emperor of India. (And of course, no less, since the conquerors always arrogated to themselves fancy titles to assert the legitimacy of their colonial rule.)

Of course Puyi was the last emperor of China, nobody in the world would ever dispute this. You have to be more specific, nobody considers Manchu Qing to be a HAN Chinese dynasty, but it's definitely considered CHINA, and in the modern era, Manchu is as Chinese as it comes. Just like the Scottish are British, and Barack Obama is American.

Great story yet tragic just showed us how an innocent child born to a privileged empire bestowed with riches and luxury yet was entire time being manipulated and lied to since birth just to secure its one last legacy.It's a complete farce and deceit in Puyi's life and what a sad conclusion this guy has to go through having to become a mass murderer to his own people with him being naive and ambitious which after all amounted to nothing!! By the way John Lone was great.. give this guy an Oscar!
