@copkilling745 Depends on the driver and the vehicle. Lockers make the most difference on vehicles with very limited suspension travel and poor tires. They also are very forgiving since you are not forced to pick a line that divides your traction among your tires.
The biggest thing I've noticed about lockers is that when somebody breaks their axle, there is a 99% chance that they have lockers, lol. Although I did manage to snap a pinion with open diffs. ;)
There is a trick you can use I learned from driving the hummer, if your starting to slip like that, you can lightly press on the brake pedal. This will sometimes allow you to get the slipping wheel to stop spinning so much and will send more power to the wheel that isn't spinning... Or you can just install a locker and be done with it!
@TheRednecknerd a lot of people don't know that trick. However, I don't know that it works on these mud trucks as many of them seem to use toploader axles and pinions brakes, so I think many of them cannot individually brake each wheel.

yeah you need a little bit more speed and dont stop. thats the biggest mistake ppl do is stoppin in the middle of a mud pit. If you start to get stuck start steerin left and right and put your foot on the gas it works for me all the time
