@isabelify21 Since Publix is an upscale grocery chain, they're very self conscious about everything, including customer service and behaviour of the employees. If you break the most trivial of their rules or don't measure up to their standard of customer service, the management pulls you into the office and has a hissy fit. Plus, there's a bunch of other things too, but not enough characters to explain them all. By the way, I still shop there, but not at the store I used to work at.
