I thought Mario Kart 64 was overrated too. I didn't like how they make the carts behind faster to catch up, it kinda seemed like a fundamental flaw, at least they didn't put that in the later ones.

You can use the mushroom and the L-R jump to jump over most the water portion of the map. That's the shortcut for this race. If you try to jump over too much you'll land in the water though.

Country music became corrupt as hell. Go to wiki and look at the billboard top hits from the late 80s and early 90s and you will see that things have degenerated far more than previously thought. I loathe Kenny Chesney so bad! All his songs are about partying and such for the most part and the air time he gets is absurd as hell!

LOL, funny you should mention Kenny Chesney, 'cause he has one song called "Don't Blink" that I actually kinda like. But aside from that and that Phil Stacey song, nothing's really jumped out.

When I hear stuff that's considered "country" from the 80's/90's (like Rodney Crowell or something) it doesn't even sound like country to me. I had no idea it ever sounded that awesome.

Country in that time frame was when radio stations played many artists instead of picking specially people like Kenny Chesney to spam on radio. It absorbed the crowd of classic rock when that genera began to decline. By the late 90s, the big marketers killed the quality and promoted only certain artists and screwed many others.
