Steve, much respect to Ronnie and Mac--they are at least good people even if they use Webbers tankers.. Props to Warren as well for being one of the originals in the area. No props to you because you have missed my "points" completely.
Best part of this video is local legend Warren Horsley at 5:40, one of the founders of surfing in New England and part of the 1960's Hull Surfers. In the early 1960's, a group of young surfing pioneers gathered in the seacoast town of Hull, MA.
If you really cared about "local" spots then you'd just surf em and shut the hell up. But I see you guys fill the lineup on micronic days, whilst sitting in your trucks drinking coffee when its mackin'...
Brother you have the wrong guys, in fast we do not even surf the public beaches, so there is no line up. I am sure I was surfing when you were sucking your mothers bottles. You know who we are and we do not know you, so anytime you want to straighten this out we are always around, instead of hiding behind the internet, peace. Steve.
Its sensitive spots, not sports. Based on the quality of wave and the quality of surfing going on here, themes no need to upload this video. You guys posture yourselves as being ambassadors who surf "local" spots. Despite that being a foolish phrase in and of it self, this really makes you guys look silly, while broadcasting one of the sicker spots (which seldom turns on). Moreover typing you wanna punch people in the face, for making genuine observations just seems hilarious.
We do not claim anything, I don't have an issue with people speaking their minds, but when they make it personal then they get what is coming to them. People love to talk shit, but when confronted in person they have nothing to say, love to hide behind a computer, losers.
Let people be who they are and mind your business if you do not like it, no one has to watch. Life is too short to open your mouth, and get someones foot in it. Thanks for the promotion though, cool
but yeah i see how its cut off making the waves smaller but still you guys probably had a badass time. I did that monday and I bodyboard almost all the time too. i think im gonna sub
The waves on the beach were just as big as Hampton but they closed the beach and kicked off all the surfers. So some of us locals in town went and found this spot, it is shelter from the open ocean, so that is why the surf was smaller here. Cool thanks for the comment..
no my friend was out surfing at boars head. and people were trying to get out. the waves were just too big and there was too much water behind them. but some got out.
Lost among the locals only spots. I am a firm believer in local only spots. To this day and for the past 20 years, I will never and have never surf a known locals spot. We have lost respect as it is, so at least I can show the locals some, call me old school, but it is all we have left. Bad enough that lots of young surfers don't really understand what surfing means. Steve..
You cant base a 7 min video on your impression of an 11 hour surf session, ad two full days of hurricane swell. We know you guys in the west don't know a lot about Hurricane swell, but you have to watch it for awhile to see the sets. Look at the news reports, the swell did have big sets. Why does everyone hate? Hate west coast, east, surfers, longboarders, body boarders, big people. small people, hate, hate, hate?
The video is what it is. The main point, the surfers in the video are having fun. Thanks for watching and sorry to the first 200 viewers that heard no sound in the first upload, Northeast Surfing - Steve A.
Those two are good friends and always drop in with no issues. Most of the times there is more room. Remember this video was broke down to under 7 minutes out of 11 hours.
The issue is the winds were bad, and as the swell got larger through the day, my camera girl was not there. This video was taken for only 40 minutes. We surfed 11 hours, winds changed off shore, and was sick. Had no one to film, and we were too stoked to do it.
I had to re-upload video, Youtube having issues with it's music, I plan on adding a cool song once it is all set. It was hard to delete the first upload with 200 views in one day. Oh well, starting over.

There's always one in every crowd. Same surfers who reach a stage of mediocrity and have to put down others to feel better about themselves

We had bigger sets come in later as the hurricane passed by. No there was nothing over 6 feet during the morning. Great observation.
