I don't know why people insist on calling them metal. Even in interviews from the 80s, Def Leppard talks about how they hate being called Heavy Metal and part of the new wave of British metal, they think they were never a part of it and they consider themselves Hard Rock.
@helvet666 , this is only your opinion. This is one of their most honest stuff. It's really great but it depends on the person. So ,no offense ,but you should give it another try. It's not that bad, it's actually great if you open your mind and heart to the lyrics and melody. Steve was an important part of the group but they haven't lost the sound without him. If you think they have, then you haven't seen and heard their last stuff or you are no fan.
