forget the tablets, forget the filter... those things dont last.. carry something you can boil water in, that works better than the tablets and the filter

I also carry something to boil water in as you will see if you watch all the videos in this episode. Most filters will filter at least 100 gallons of water. As this pack is designed for a one week sustainability, it would be impossible for the filter to run out in that time immediately thereafter. The smart survivalist never leaves themselves one option to do something. As I have said several times in the videos. Watch and learn.

Couldn't have put it clearer or nicer pal. Most survival situations will last no more than a week. Meaning that pretty much any water purification method a person chooses wont run out. I prefer filters or chlorine tablets. They are quick and easy. Boiling takes too long if you are wanting to remain mobile and forces you to carry more water with you when you go mobile. Water weighs 8lbs per gallon. The less you have to carry the better.

I dont see how you could say that MOST survival situations are only going to be a week, what if obama declares martial law?? then you have a very long situation and you will run out of drinkable water.. And why would you have to carry more water if you boil it? you can boil any water it would be no different than carrying water with purifying tablets

you should review the history of survival situations as well as determine the meaning of most. I try to keep it real. Obama and martial law is not likely, if it is then you will have to be on the move constantly and taking time to boil water will be a tactical flat tire.

In reality a person is more likely to get lost hiking, or injured while hunting, or stranded on the roadside by weather..even a flood is more likely than
