nah chalky was a really unique part of psycroptic, their new vocalist isnt bad, just gets a tad stale. but also haley has gotten a tad repetitive on the riffing, although obServant was a nice step from their previous work, which had a few great tracks but all blended together.

It took me a while to practise Spawn, but it would have been of major benefit to rehearse more with the full band, & being on the other side of the world made that difficult. I am working hard on getting the right sound for the new material, hopefully it all works out ok and people including yourself like it.
Spawn of Possession requires a lot heavier set of stones to pull off, i hope Chalk digs deep and gives the old boys better justice than this. He can sing, but he cant growl for shit.

@TheOnlyChalky i didn't mean to come off as condescending. you are definitely one of the best death metal vocalists around right now, i was just paying homage to Renvaktar and the parts he wrote. i saw later that this was one of your first shows with the band, and in no did i mean to insult you; with the experience you have at vocals i'm sure it took you no time at all to get SoP's style down and adapt to it. i have no doubt that your next release will be the best spawn of possession yet.
@MattJoyce Oh, and just so you know, Renvaktar only wrote minimal stuff, Rondum still wrote, and recorded i believe, the majority of vox on Noctambulant. But both guys nailed it better than i did in this live vid, i am well aware of it. I will work harder before any future performances.

I would love to do so, but you may have noticed that the Obscura EU tour starts on January 8th and the SOP tour goes til January 9th. That's why I'm going to be replaced by Aussie session guitarist Ben Lawless for this tour, I'm sure he's going to do a great job!
