I do not confuse it, for the things we call things do have meaning, even more so purpose. Where there is purpose there is hope and no one can't deny the reality of that. I don't get too literal about say the Buddhist teachings, but I am convinced they are stark warnings and starry notions aside, that is real enough for me.
