So cool! I love racing, but what do you really think about the track?? My opinion is that it feels a bit too smooth for nordschleife.That's why the CCX hits about 380kph. I still haven't driven the Evolution, so all i'm saying is based on the video. The track versions for GTR2 are rubish...lots of sharp edges...I really love the track but it stills cannot transfer the feeling of the real deal...I mean, Polyphony has an awesome track in Gran Turismo 4 since 2005...What do you think?

dude, you are a good driver. i got a question. i see that the wipers works on this game, because a was pissed of in gtr 2 when it was rain you couldn't turn them on. so the question is, do you turn them on by your self, or the game trun them on??

You turn them on yourself, you actually need them in the dry to as your windscreen/shield gets dirty and bug splattered. There are also random stone chips

I know from running almost every ISI sim out there that a bad FFB setup can really mess you up. Race cars do have astonishing amounts of both mechanical and aerodynamic grip when correctly setup, I find it quite refreshing to have a car that will slide but still maintain some semblance of forward bite. Maybe this one isn't for everyone but it is well worth a shot. ;)

Evolution is definately Simbins' best effort so far, I have driven race cars and while it isn't perfect it's getting pretty close. I get the feeling that some of the negative comments could be related to FFB setup, makes a very big difference in ISI based games as there is so much reliance placed on the tyre files.

Yeah but that's about the only that no one can touch them in. I can't believe they have been using the ISI sim for as long as they have for it to feel as unrealistic as it does. LFS and iRacing are really the only 2 true "simulators" out there. I feel this is simbin's best sim yet, but they still have a long way to go in the realism department.

iRacing is too much for me - but looks interesting. LFS - I thought about it and bought rFactor instead. Didn't care for rFactor all that much the cars seemd a little more loose than they are in real life. I think I'll end up just running race pro by simbin on 360. Full headset and friends list support, hdmi on 46" sony, etc etc. I hope it translates well to console.

GTR2 have better graphics, because Race07 graphics was made by another group of artists.

Actually I like the tire sounds, even though they might not be realistic (actually I wouldn't know since I´ve never raced for real)

The sounds help telling how much grip I've got :)
