  • great to see sustainable fishing method. if you could see how scallops are harvested in the English channel it would break your heart. our scallop fishery is so damaging to the sea bed.

To see someone doing things in such a sencible way gives me real hope, Thanks.

  • It sounds so good for a past time compared to what we have here, where our waters have no edibles due to reclaimation.

Best of all, it's not only recreational but also productive!

  • Those are quite small scallops, I work in the fish trade in Dorset, UK and we rarely see them small like that. I suppose that they are just a smaller species, I have been offered work as a commercial scallop diver and cannot wait to start. Great video.

  • This is a great video. Don't ever take your experience for granted. I was diving for Scallops on Nantucket for 20 years. Sadly a few years back they raised the non resident license fee to an unreasonably high amount. Do i want to spend that kind of money for 2 or 3 scallop dives? No. Raising the fee hurt a lot of businesses because us non residents now vacation elsewhere and spend our money other than at Nantucket businesses. Thanks for the video. It's great.
