You do a really terrible job of explaining what sounds you are using. You should redo this and explain each one. Like the kick, then clap and then the ride. You kind of do all 3 at one time and jump around making it impossible to follow.

@ianryansmith the green dot beside the effects turn it off then right click and make a automation clip then you can move it around to activate and unactivate hope that helps

Hey hey

If you want an effect just on one sample, assign it to a mixer track - click on what you want to put the effect on in the step sequencer, in the top right corner there should be something which'll say "--" or "1" "2" etc. etc. click it and drag it up or down to choose what mixer channel you want it on, double click the number (or just open up the mixer) and go to the number you chose, and then put your effect on

We don't know what samples you use, how you're making each beat and pretty much what the hell you're actually doing. I see boxes coming up and disappearing. Things going up and down left right and centre and it just doesn't explain anything at all.

Hopefully you will make a nice, slow, step by step tutorial in the near future that us FL9 beginners can actually learn from.

Like I've said, it doesn't say this is for beginners. Might help if you went and found out how to use the FL Engine properly before even attempting to produce proper composed songs.

If you're talking about what i think you are, you have to click on the sample then go to "INS" and then the "VOL" tab, and edit the asdr so that you have it look like a square. Pretty much just have no attack full decay and sustain and no release.
