Brian Haw was hit unprovokedly by a police officer who then attempted to hide his number, which he is required by law to display clearly and give to any citizen asking for it.
The fact that Brian Haw swore does not constitute harassment, as he did not swear AT any of them, he merely swore out of frustration and anger at the injustice.
And to finish it off, you should take your opinions and views on the governments inadequacies to the BALLOT BOX - like the rest of us. Thats why its called a democracy. 1) He got struck in the face by his camera causing a small, repeat small, cut which made blood run down his face making it look worse. This was caused when the crowd was being moved back, and he was probably refusing to do so, hence why he was pushed.
2) If he wanted to lodge a complaint against an officer, he should do it at a later time, not while the incident is ongoing.

If someone hits a camera into your face, then that is assault, regardless of whether it's done by a police officer or a civilian.
Brian Haw was hit unprovokedly by a police officer who then attempted to hide his number, which he is required by law to display clearly and give to any citizen asking for it.
The fact that Brian Haw swore does not constitute harassment, as he did not swear AT any of them, he merely swore out of frustration and anger at the injustice.

Here are the facts:
1) He got struck in the face by his camera causing a small, repeat small, cut which made blood run down his face making it look worse. This was caused when the crowd was being moved back, and he was probably refusing to do so, hence why he was pushed.
2) If he wanted to lodge a complaint against an officer, he should do it at a later time, not while the incident is ongoing.

Police in uk are little more than glorfied balifs, they are cowards happy to man handle peaceful protesters but when they are threatend with violence such as on friday or saturday nights in most uk town centers they more often than not get owned, ive seen 1 guy with a bottle stand down 20 coppers dont be afraid theyre pussys!

One word keeps rising to the front of my mind: Transparency. With transparency, you are told clearly what offenses you have committed and what repercussions to expect. Transparency allows protesters to peacefully state their opinion in public without fear. Here in the states, transparency of the voting process would alleviate our fears of voter fraud. We across the pond who stand for clear law and accountability are with you.

The RIPA act allows the police and anyone from their informer network to denounce anyone and get funding on an annual basis to conduct surveillance, stalk and harass their targets. Funding allows for the purchase of cars, rental of property and covers expenses.
Assets bought is used and recycled out cheaply for kick backs. Funding pays for entire life styles. Organised stalking tactics and sabotage are used to degrade targets necessitating on going surveillance operations.
