  • the guitar is an instrument that can never be in perfec tune. ussualy guitar ensembles do sound a bit out of tune, but, in this case, it's very acceptable, as good as possible.

  • First of all, this is the opening theme from "The Simpsons" a comic cartoon about a crazy family (yes it's supposed to sound like a house of lunatics).

    Second, It was not composed by any of these guys, but by Danny Elfman, a film score composer.

  • It sounds to me like echoes from the house of lunatics. Is this the purpose why this music was written? Or did the gentlemen study with Arnold Schoenberg? I would have criminals who are worthy of extra severe punishment expose to this type of music for 24/7. Nevertheless from the aplause in the end it seems like there are some enthusiasts who love things like this.

  • Third, It has nothing to do with Schoenberg. this is modal, not atonal. It's much, much, much, more consonant.

    Fourth, it's one of the most famous cartoon in the world (I'm impressed you don't recognize this tune). Of course there are enthusiasts.

  • Not at all. I've been a musician and a guitarist for quite some time. This reminds me exactly of the theme from the Simpsons. In the actual theme song, the chords are off the wall.
