This whas done using the normal SG cicuit. No magnets though, just the coil. I was amazed that I could still here the oscillating at such high frequency.

nice to see a fellow Aussie having a crack at the bedini.. i built my first one the other day. are u using bedini circuit?

I have also found that Solid state draws much less energy, and seems to put out much more energy.
