that is a white lie the lady is telling,many people live there many white tourists visit langa many times and i can asure you non of them were diognose with any diseases my friend from chezch was living with me for three weeks we slept and stayed in joe slovo for a week and she was perfectly fine she got no disease and she loved langa its one of the best townships in cape town
Walked in Langa, Gugulethu and Mdantasne for 2 yrs. Was a white missionary from USA didn't die of any diseases lol or anything. people here are the coolest so much fun!! but very crazy at times lol. Half of Langa burnt down when i was there. they had to move people into tents for a while.
I was in langa township before 1994. It looked way way better than this.What is the driver talking about It is so easy to blame everything on Apartheid.
