Ich kann mir gut vorstellen dass ab 130kmh der 330i mithalten weil der BMW auch deutlich mehr Hubraum hat.Ich fahre 130i habe es mal mit einen S3 zu tun gehabt. Bis etwa 130kmh ist er deutlich schneller aber aber ab etwa 140 oder 150kmh ist der s3 mir nicht mehr davon gefahren.
@Spanier207 Wenn das wirklich stimmen sollte, dann wäre das wirklich schwach, für ca 70 Mehr-PS.
Auch wenn ich kein Freund von aufgeblasenen Turbomotoren bin (fahre selber einen 330i mit 272PS), so könnte ich mir dennoch vorstellen, dass der Golf R schneller ist, weil die Turbomotoren normalerweise einen etwas besseren Durchzug haben. Saugmotoren, und besonders die Reihen6er zeichnen andere Qualitäten aus. Den kauft man sich nicht wegen purer Leistung :)
Also ich fände eine Autobahnmaut für alle Ausländer sehr sinnvoll. Jeder Deutsche Bundesbürger darf sie für umsonst nutzen, denn die zahlen ja auch Steuern dafür und den erhalt der Fahrbahnen (und zahlen noch Eurorettungsfonds am meisten). Wenn unsere Jungs ins Ausland fahren zahlen sie die auch und werden noch Geschwindigkeits abgezockt, vorallem Schweiz und Österreich. Und zu uns kommen die Ösis und Schweizer heißen auf unseren Bahnen und zahlen nichts!

Also don't forget power-to-weight ratio ... Do a few mods to a MK6 Golf R like my uncle did to his MK6 Golf R in Singapore and you will be pushing close to 350-HP and at that kind of HP, he smoked a C43 AMG who tried to play with him on the highway between Singapore and Malaysia.

es geht nicht um zylinder oder hubraum bei der beschleunigung, sondern am ende nur um das reine leistungsgewicht. der golf r hat mehr ps und weniger gewicht als der bmw, dazu vorteile durchs dsg. was meinst, warum du gegen jedes motorrad mit 100ps den kürzeren ziehst mit nem auto in dieser leistungsklasse. an dem vielen hubraum und zylindern wird das wohl kaum liegen, hm?! ;) der große motor ist halt laufruhiger, kommt von unten besser und hat ne bessere gasannahme...

der alte r32 wies der name sagt war schon 3,2l der neue wird nicht unter 3,0l haben. Mittlerweile is die technik soweit das auf großvolumige motoren verzichtet werden kann und trotzdem die gleiche ps zahl rausgeholt werden kann, und ein abnormales drehmoment. Was früher nur busse und lkw s hatten^^.

es wird schon ein 330i gewesen sein. mein vater fährt den selben ein 330i touring mit 258ps und der geht gut ab aber mann muss bedenken der golf 12ps und 50nm mehr und ein kürzer übersetztes getriebe und dazu wiegt er noch ma gute 150kg weniger .... leider fehlt dem neuen golf R der schöne sound der vorgänger r32 ;(

@CainG88 Those are foolish words, this is a stock Golf R, no chip. If you chip both cars to be fair the Golf R would smoke the Bimmer. When you chip a turbocharged car the results are phenomenal. Even the less powerful MK6 GTI with it's smaller K03 turbo with a Stage 1 chip will keep up with a Stock Golf R until passed 4th gear where the lighter GTI will pull due to lighter weight. Stage 1 Golf R's put out 300hp on 91 oct. closer to 350hp on 100 oct, check out Go APR if you think it's bullocks

They dont do anything custom and their approach is one size fits all. And for this shitty deal they charge the most! People talk shit when it comes to motor sports and cars, but honeslty a great tuner with custom dyno exp cannot be beat for results. APR is good for those that have money and little sense..
@Mailme81 Yes, I totally agree with you APR has got the marketing and that's the main reason why i threw that out there because it's easier to go on their site and google videos and see the results. The only thing that I like about them is their options through the Cruise Control. But yes Eurodyne, Unitronics, and even full blown custom setups like MegaSquirt can get more tuning based on what your car actually has instead of a base map that suits all.

Nobody knows if it was a 330i, because it has no type designation on the back! It has a double exhaust, so it may well be a 325i (218 hp) or 325d. We don't know it. Honestly, the performance of the Golf R is not overwhelming, considering it is a much lighter car than the BMW. The Golf overtakes, but can't really advance. And it sounds, as if the engine will collapse in the next moment.

@durtrix I drive the same engine type in an Audi A4 (2.0 TFSI 211 hp series, chipped 275 hp) and I repeat my comment. The sound of four-piston-engines at speeds of 200-250 km/h is far from the fantastic sound of an inline six cylinder like in a BMW. And these small, but highly turbocharged engines (except for diesel engines with lower cumbustion temperatures) are not trustworthy at these high speeds. Except for Porsche engines with their special VTG chargers. It's just like that, sorry.
Naja der Unterschied ist halt nur, dass der im BMW bei 250 mit Tempomat gemütlich dahin fährt und im Golf muss man Angst um sein Leben haben bei 250 Km/h. Fahre selber einen 6er GTI mit Chip und mein Vater einen 535i Touring - der neue Doppelturbo von BMW geht um einiges besser und ist um Welten leiser und ruhiger zu fahren bei dem Tempo, aber wers mag ;)
@TheNessuno2009 der einzige vorteil den dein vater hat ist, das er ein größeres auto fährt, in dem die geschwindigkeit nicht so rüber kommt. man nehem zb eine s klasse die 250 kmh fährt und als vergleich einen fiat punto der 250 fährt (jaaaa ich weiss, gibts nich ^^) , da kommt in der s klasse 0 feeling auf. von daher hat man vom reinen gefühl her im golf bei dem tempo mehr adrenalin als im bmw, und demzufolge auch mehr spaß am fahren ;) von daher is das quatsch von wegen angst um sein leben...

Für das, das der golf leichter, mehr drehmoment, mehr leistung und zudem das modernere motorkonzept hat mit turboaufladung und direkteinspritzung was der 3 liter beides ned hat( dafür halt 3 liter), find ichs eher mau! der schafft es den zu überholen aber ned wegzubeschleunigen, und das gegen nen touring. einzig und allein die endgeschwindigkeit lässt ihn klein werden, und die scheint höher zu sein warum auch immer
Gaaf filmpje zeg. Dat een R sneller dan een 330i 258pk is wist ik wel. De BMW mist turbo-koppel. Maar de BMW wordt niet compleet zoek-gereden, hij blijf in beeld. Toch lullig als je een 3 liter BMW rijdt. Ik lees hier dat sommige zeggen dat een 130i sneller is maar daar geloof ik niet in. Die weegt ook al zo'n 1400kg. Het zal eerder gelijk op gaan. Ik zou wel eens willen weten wat een 335i doet, ik denk dat het verschil dan omgedraaid is. Dan loopt de 335i iets uit.
The 330i touring is heavy and a bigger car... With a 130i is enough to keep up the golf in stright line, and if you remove the runflat tyres in the bmw the times in circuit are very close. (tested)
@sunnetalboy do we know whether the 330i is empty? we will never find out. however, the R is a different type of car, with more HP, more Torque and cause it is charged the engine's torque characteristic is completely different. In this enjoyable run the R wins for sure. 135i 335i is required ;-)
ein kollege von mir hatte einen 330 mit ac schnitzer kompressoraufladung und der ist schon für seine 335ps nicht sonderlich gut gegangen... nicht reden - wissen oder probieren! bin beiden schon gefahren und spreche aus erfahrung!
@DivisionCT ich glaub aber irgendwie dass der bmw nicht vollgas gibt .... vlt war es aber auch nur ein 320i der von nem sonnenstudiobesitzer optisch ein bisschen getunt wurde....
Lastige kan ook een 325i zijn. Ik weet namelijk dat een 130i sneller is dan een Golf R. 330i coupe is bijna net zo snel als de 130i. Dit is een touring, dus stuk zwaarder -> is gelijk ook langzamer. Echter bovenin is de Golf niet zo sterk (4 cilinder), maar toch gaat hij langs deze. Ach ja, leuke video!

@mischa323ti ... I just pulled out my Golf R brochure as well as my BMW 335i brochure and compared the specs based on stock version:
BMW 335i - Weight = 1,635 kg - 0 to 100 km/hr = ~ 5.7 seconds
VW Golf R - Weight = 1,521 kg - 0 to 100 km/hr = ~ 5.6 seconds
So even in stock form, it is a close call

@CainG88 Those are foolish words, this is a stock Golf R, no chip. If you chip both cars to be fair the Golf R would smoke the Bimmer. When you chip a turbocharged car the results are phenomenal. Even the less powerful MK6 GTI with it's smaller K03 turbo with a Stage 1 chip will keep up with a Stock Golf R until passed 4th gear where the lighter GTI will pull due to lighter weight. Stage 1 Golf R's put out 300hp on 91 oct. closer to 350hp on 100 oct, check out Go APR if you think it's bullocks

@drewnashty I agree with everything you have said.. exceot the thing about APR.. they are honestly just the best in Motor Marketing! They dont do anything custom and their approach is one size fits all. And for this shitty deal they charge the most! People talk shit when it comes to motor sports and cars, but honeslty a great tuner with custom dyno exp cannot be beat for results. APR is good for those that have money and little sense..

@Mailme81 Yes, I totally agree with you APR has got the marketing and that's the main reason why i threw that out there because it's easier to go on their site and google videos and see the results. The only thing that I like about them is their options through the Cruise Control. But yes Eurodyne, Unitronics, and even full blown custom setups like MegaSquirt can get more tuning based on what your car actually has instead of a base map that suits all.

@sony33flo maybe, but it can be the engine with 258 hp or it can be the engine with 218 hp ( 325 i ) , it also have a 3 liter engine, what do you think

Nobody knows if it was a 330i, because it has no type designation on the back! It has a double exhaust, so it may well be a 325i (218 hp) or 325d. We don't know it. Honestly, the performance of the Golf R is not overwhelming, considering it is a much lighter car than the BMW. The Golf overtakes, but can't really advance. And it sounds, as if the engine will collapse in the next moment.

@durtrix I drive the same engine type in an Audi A4 (2.0 TFSI 211 hp series, chipped 275 hp) and I repeat my comment. The sound of four-piston-engines at speeds of 200-250 km/h is far from the fantastic sound of an inline six cylinder like in a BMW. And these small, but highly turbocharged engines (except for diesel engines with lower cumbustion temperatures) are not trustworthy at these high speeds. Except for Porsche engines with their special VTG chargers. It's just like that, sorry.

Naja der Unterschied ist halt nur, dass der im BMW bei 250 mit Tempomat gemütlich dahin fährt und im Golf muss man Angst um sein Leben haben bei 250 Km/h. Fahre selber einen 6er GTI mit Chip und mein Vater einen 535i Touring - der neue Doppelturbo von BMW geht um einiges besser und ist um Welten leiser und ruhiger zu fahren bei dem Tempo, aber wers mag ;)

@TheNessuno2009 der einzige vorteil den dein vater hat ist, das er ein größeres auto fährt, in dem die geschwindigkeit nicht so rüber kommt. man nehem zb eine s klasse die 250 kmh fährt und als vergleich einen fiat punto der 250 fährt (jaaaa ich weiss, gibts nich ^^) , da kommt in der s klasse 0 feeling auf. von daher hat man vom reinen gefühl her im golf bei dem tempo mehr adrenalin als im bmw, und demzufolge auch mehr spaß am fahren ;) von daher is das quatsch von wegen angst um sein leben...

Warum sollte der Golf nicht schneller sein als der BMW (laut einigen Aussagen hier)? Nur wegen dem Hubraum!? Der Golf hat halt mehr PS und Drehmoment !!!
Bin selbst Golf R Fahrer und spreche aus Erfahrung - BMW ist schei... und zu teuer!!!

Für das, das der golf leichter, mehr drehmoment, mehr leistung und zudem das modernere motorkonzept hat mit turboaufladung und direkteinspritzung was der 3 liter beides ned hat( dafür halt 3 liter), find ichs eher mau! der schafft es den zu überholen aber ned wegzubeschleunigen, und das gegen nen touring. einzig und allein die endgeschwindigkeit lässt ihn klein werden, und die scheint höher zu sein warum auch immer

Gaaf filmpje zeg. Dat een R sneller dan een 330i 258pk is wist ik wel. De BMW mist turbo-koppel. Maar de BMW wordt niet compleet zoek-gereden, hij blijf in beeld. Toch lullig als je een 3 liter BMW rijdt. Ik lees hier dat sommige zeggen dat een 130i sneller is maar daar geloof ik niet in. Die weegt ook al zo'n 1400kg. Het zal eerder gelijk op gaan. Ik zou wel eens willen weten wat een 335i doet, ik denk dat het verschil dan omgedraaid is. Dan loopt de 335i iets uit.

The 330i touring is heavy and a bigger car... With a 130i is enough to keep up the golf in stright line, and if you remove the runflat tyres in the bmw the times in circuit are very close. (tested)

@sunnetalboy do we know whether the 330i is empty? we will never find out. however, the R is a different type of car, with more HP, more Torque and cause it is charged the engine's torque characteristic is completely different. In this enjoyable run the R wins for sure. 135i 335i is required ;-)

ein kollege von mir hatte einen 330 mit ac schnitzer kompressoraufladung und der ist schon für seine 335ps nicht sonderlich gut gegangen... nicht reden - wissen oder probieren! bin beiden schon gefahren und spreche aus erfahrung!

This is a stock Golf 6 R. About the BMW, I have no idea. I only know it has an 3.0i engine.
Above the 5000RPM the BMW was lost.

Lastige kan ook een 325i zijn. Ik weet namelijk dat een 130i sneller is dan een Golf R. 330i coupe is bijna net zo snel als de 130i. Dit is een touring, dus stuk zwaarder -> is gelijk ook langzamer. Echter bovenin is de Golf niet zo sterk (4 cilinder), maar toch gaat hij langs deze. Ach ja, leuke video!
