Get a better one get an Echo 1 or Cyma Ak. Or if you really want an amazing starting gun go for the G&G affordable series. Trust me don't even think about getting this gun period. I have it, it's garbage.

well (sorry for the pun there), the r17 has a m4a2 style stock which is retractable, as well as having a red dot sight, the r7 has a fixed stock and doesn;t have the red dot, i don;t think at least...

I have had this gun for a long time and let me say this, at first you love it but after a solid month shit starts to fall apart and it'll break. And the mag misfeeds SOOOO much its ridiculous. Moral of the story is save up some more money and get any gun by echo 1 or JG you will not be sorry.

all you guys say that this gun is poor quality, are douchebags. I have had this gun for about 7 months, I have NEVER cleaned, I have taken it apart about 7 times, Ive dropped it, cracked off pieces of the gun and it still works great. I just ajusted the hop up and i'm hitting targets at just over 120 feet but i am getting a new gun. I will be getting the cm035.does anyone know if that gun is any good? yeah i agree with you, .2 is the best ammo for any kind of airsoft gun except for certain snipers, the .2 grams are way more accurate and hit with more impact.

yea, .12g bbs will break the gun eventually, not to mention this one will break anyway cause it's bad quality. well did really good on the r4(MP7) and the r8(G3 SAS) but other than that nothin since they just stepped up their game

Its all stock, it broke though in my airsoft mayhem movie....Some wire in the gearbox came disconnected and i dont know to fix these things so i have to get a new one

The gun was designed for .20 gram bbs. You'll get better performance that way.

i too have a r7, sometimes when i buy airsoft rifles the magazines are always broken, like my old m4, i use to have to put it upside down to shoot, so i think you should buy a new magazine,which are about...15 dollars.and also when ever i shoot my gun it shoots about 20 shots or higher before i have to wind it

Theres a little white wheel on the bottom of the magazine , turn it around a bit , cock the gun and it will be good as new...

with the winding clip you have to look at the top to see that the BB's are fed all the way to the top and then you want to wind it even more so the thing can keep feeding BB's up
