I agree that debating is bad and comes from the flesh. Jesus did not debate with the Pharisees He just stated the Truth and the Scriptures. We do need to state the Truth of the gospel to those who are in error and help only those unsaved who sincerely ask help to understand their error. The ultimate revelation shall come from the scriptures and the Holy Spirit.
@da9el1 When I was unsaved, I didn't know about God's will in my life. When I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and saved, I came to know that God's will is to use our free will to obey Him, and not the enemy's. From my experience, since the day I put my faith on Jesus Christ until now, there are times when I know I disobey Him. Guess what? It didn't feel right and I had no peace of mind. My friend, there is peace in your heart when you know you are in the right.
Argueing??? I would say yes. I like the verse he quotes in Titus. If you just keep going at it with someone you will get no where. I've been there myself and have ruined friendships and relationships with debate over biblical things. The bottom line is we are here to edify one another once we find Christ as our saviour. Everyone just needs to get over doctrine an celebrate what YHWH has done for us.
Gnostic teachings that all matter is of the kingdom of darkness. This is why Catholic biship "saint" Augustine and John Calvin believed in baptizing babies. Calvinists, Lutherans and Catholics persecuted the true body of Christ and called them "Anabaptists" because they would re-baptise people AFTER they became born again. I used to believe the once saved always saved heresy, and know all the scriptures Calvinists use to distort the Gospel of Christ.
if people had to disobey God everyday then they could not be held accountable for sinning ,if they didn't have the power to stop sinning then they could not be judged for sinning!
but since men do have the choice and can stop sinning they will be judged and need Jesus to forgive them..
if men could not stop sinning then they would not need Jesus, they could not be judged! unless God was a cruel tyrant
The whole notion that God forces His will upon someone to do evil or good is senseless by simple logic. Why would God command someone to do something he has already ordained them to do or not to do? John Calvin was a murderer who taught the evil doctrine of baptising babies (pure Gnostic teaching). He persecuted "Anabaptists," who were the true church of Christ, which would re-baptise people after the person received the message of Christ, whom the Calvinists and others had baptised as babies.
You are so correct on what you said about how Calvinists tend to believe the things they believe. Well, God even created the angels to have free will. Look at Lucifer & his fallen angels, they chose to rebell against God. God did not create a bunch of robots. They called themselves Christians who believe in the KJV Bible, but I see from their false TULIP totally unbiblical doctrine prove they're not. They believe in another jesus and worship a different god according to this TULIP doctrine.
yep and also i am doing a documentary about the nwo and also a moive of us fighting it now if you want we can work with each other so we can do william cooper and aaron russo style bro i got a few ppl to help me also my sn at aim is acousticsounds34
i got a question about deabte what if someone is racist pretty much this guy said in my us history class " there all arabic and muslims lets kill them all and stay in iraq" " i have no arab friends" then i point at my slef and then some guy tryed to deabte with me about this iraq war i didnt instead my friends attacked both of them
It would be hard for me to talk to someone as stupid as the person you are describing. i may have said one thing to him and then ignored the guy. the person is obviously very sick in his mind.
I haven't judged anything thing except strictly by the Word of God as the Lord instructs "judge righteous judgment" John 7:24. I have only read from the Bible which offends you. Jesus stated, "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." Luke 7:23
"Beloved, while I was diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints."Jude 3 The only thing necessary for evil to proliferate and triumph is for godly men to keep silent, hoping fatalistically that the Truth of God's Word will defend itself. For this reason we are given the whole armour of God. Not to rattle our sabers and march about but to fight. RLJ
"...I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to CONTEND earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints."Jude 3 "And take... the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God;"Eph6:17 All that is needed for error and evil to proliferate and triumph is for godly men to maintain silence and fatalistically sit back and wait for the Truth to defend itself.Paul reasoned in the market place daily and on Mars Hill. Can we do any less and be good soldiers of the cross?RLJ
Total mis application of the Scriptures. i have stated I reject his doctrines. therefore why should he be bothering with me? Paul spoke to people who were listening and were unsaved men. I am a born again Christian who was powerfully saved in 1997. Paul was telling people about the Messiah. i know the messiah. You are out of place. the Scriptures i quoted in this video stand by themselves. Argue with the scriptures then. you are not alone.
further more, Paul was reasoning with people who stood there and listened. Anyone who didnt want to listen walked out. Additionally Monty Collier and his friend are of NO comparison to the Apostle Paul. You err greatly.
I believe that the contending mentioned in Jude is not the kind of thing that is the debating the Tithe5th refers to. If I understand correctly, it's as if these 2 guys are looking around to find a fight. That's the impression I got. The 2Cor12:20 reminds me of the situation in Dosdoyevski's Grand Inquisitor. Contending for the faith? I think that's contending for the difference between the truth and, say, Gnosticism/New Age/Mystery Religions/Catholicism. Helpful? :)
Another hard hitting verse that I think is even more powerful is in Proverbs chapter 1 23-33 But highlighting the verse 29, "For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:" but it needs to be read in context to get the full understanding and power behind it. We truly must choose God. God enables us to do this and we pay the consequences for whatever decisions we make. the Lord says that over and over again through His Word. Truly that happened to me the day God found me.
amen brother- your a sharp, well educated man in the word. glad i found your channel. you are 100% right by the way, all glory to God through His Spirit. Shalom

proverbs
025:008 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
025:009 Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:
025:010 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.
025:011 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Why would God give us free will if he only wants us to "obey" him?

So would argueing with atheist and evolutionist wrong? Does this only apply to argueing and debateing our brothers in Christ?

Good points. One can easily get side-tracked by trivialties. But he needs to be discerning when witnessing.
