It doesn't make a difference if you're raped, if you go full term in your pregnancy then decided to have an abortion which results in a 'born alive' abortion then regardless of the conditions that child was concieved YOU are responsible for the MURDER of a LIVE BABY. If a person is raped, that person is bound to be traumatized, and perhaps even in denial or overwhelmed by guilt. As such, that woman may not choose to get an abotion until the very last second.
Foetuses don't have a perception of oneself anyway - that doesn't come until the age of about 2.

To answer your question, I don't know how often it happens. Once is too much. There is not always something wrong with babies who survive abortions. Gianna Jessen did, and while she has cerebral palsy, she leads a very rewarding life. I feel the boundary should be set at conception, you don't. An American citizen is a person BORN in or naturalized in the United States. A baby is recognized as a seperate entity, apart from it's mother. They are guaranteed constitutional rights. Imposing a death sentence on them without due process of law, IN EACH CASE, is an infringement of their rights. Who said you have no soul? I had over 2 colleges who wanted me. I had other plans. I took what schooling I wanted, and now I'm a stay-at-home mother with a business of my own and a husband in Iraq. I have my cake and I eat it, too. I travel to places like Hawaii and Germany.

I can't tell you who to vote for, but I can tell you how I am going to vote. Most states have paper ballots that have a spot where you can write in a candidate. I'm going to vote for someone who I think will give rights back to the states where it belongs. Someone who doesn't believe in "Big Gov't", but does believe in the Constitution. My personal belief about abortion is that it should be up to each state to decide, not the federal gov't. If you have a mind of your own, search for yourself.

I went to Hawaii before I met my husband. I was already starting my business when we married. His service allows me to travel with the profits I make and pay less. I've been in Germany since Feb. and believe me, even with him not here, I still travel all over the place. My baby and I have been to castles, a monastary, and two other countries, without my husband. We've traveled by car, by train, and by boat. I don't know many 11 month olds that can say they've been in 4 countries.
