  • I'm 15 and a gamer and I do P90X and Insanity. I'm really fit and doing the programs really got my mind straight. Get chicken. fish, and turkey, lots of fruits and veggies. No pop or diet pop, only tea and water. That'll work, promise.

  • @tommygunner13 Hitting the weights does increase your hear rate faster, then after your set it drops again, so its almost like doing HIIT.

    Cardio helps lose fat, but you don't want to overdo it cus you'll lose both fat and muscle.

  • @bsmit389 If you do cardio for long periods of time, you will lose muscle along with fat idiot. Just look at marathon runners, they eat a lot but still are stick thin.

    Everyone knows that, he means that you lose fat because no one complains about being overweight when you have muscle and a flat stomach.

    I'm also 6'3" and weigh the about the same as when I had a "gut". Though with football type conditioning I took from my HS years and a video I made my own rutine. Now I am 32 in pants instead of 38 though I might start doing more cardio as keeping muscle is quite hard.

  • If you want to lose weight, choose cardio over weights. You gain weight due to muscle having a lower surface to fat for the same amount, e.g 5kg's. But metabolism differs in everyone so everyones training is specific to the individual. Im doing Sports and Exercise science at Uni.

  • I'm a gamer and i eat alot of food, but i'm still fiot because i have weights and a fitness bike in my room. You dont need to stop having junkfood altogether, maybe just eat healthy for monday-friday, on saturday and sunday have a few nice meals, dont starve yourself either, and for healthy foods dont just eat cucumbers, brocolli and apples!

  • eat healthy, exercise regularly (the FDA should be changing the recommended amount from 30 min of moderate activity every day to 60 min of vigorous activity every day in the next year based on recent medical studies). do it with balance and moderation. if you want to get jacked, thin, or w/e, just know that unless your body is predisposed to looking that way, you cannot stay that way indefinitely. be chill and accept who you are

  • @JimJim916 you cannot turn fat into muscle. you can slowly replace one with the other by working out regularly (4-5 days a week), eating more balanced meals (within your caloric intake limits), and getting some sort of aerobic exercise. remember, fat burns when your heart rate gets up, and STAYS up for a prolonged period of time (although if it gets too high, you actually will only burn sugar, so don't work too hard)

  • I actually lost 15 lbs by taking two PE classes a day in high school my junior year. Did the same senior year and i maintained my lower weight level, and built some muscle in weight training and had fun in volleyball. When I started I could bench about 135lbs only a few times. After 3 semesters of it I maxed out at 205lbs. Not too shabby for a guy who is only 170lbs himself.

  • youre wrong. i eat so much sugar and i eat what i want and i lost 15 pounds. the ni gained 30 pounds of muscle. im 15 150 pounds and bench 225 and squat 365. i do my max 12 times and am happy with it. if you have a re4ally high metabolism you eat all healthy food and eat a shit load of meat. chicken has the most proteins but the most fast. fidh is the best with omega 3 oils and hamburger works the best for me

  • It is hard to stay fit if you're hardcore gamer? Really? I'm super hardcore and I'm 135 pounds(16 years old), play soccer, and am physically and mentally in top shape...so umm just saying...no it's not hard to stay in shape. I get it if you're older, but still all you have to is run a few laps on a park route or your neighborhood. Really not that hard. Plus this kind of commentary is kinda boring to listen to.
