it is not based on nissan, it was co designed with isuzu, which is why they also sell a version of this truck.

It's based on a Nissan and Uses many of Nissan's components

In fact they had to close the US GM factory due tot he Earthquake in Japan

So it should hold up very well

it kinda looks like a smaller version of my truck ('02 avalanche). sounds good for a 5 banger, better than the 4.3 in my own opinion, not as raspy on the high end.

@MrBlueChevy93 this ones actually made with a inline 5 cylinder my colorado is, plus there are lots of 5 cylinders out there. My other pickup was originally a v6 but one cylinder has no spark so i consider it a 5 cylinder haha

It was just kicking around. I think it is from a Ford Ranger. i built my own mounts and put it on.
