@themagicalone00 you need to buy the bundle pack that cost 29.99 its a downloadable content the online part, might as well get tekken 6. how is tekken 5 btw

@Grungeaintdead101 well that sucks. I saw the online bundle on the network but it said that the content could not be accessed from my acct or something of the sort. 5 is ok. Easy as usual. Which is why I really wanted to play online. Wish I would have known before purchasing the game.

Even with a good connection expect to have up to 1-2 secs of input lag in alot of matches. In a fighting game that's disastrous. Namco is known for it's shitty netcode in their games. Tekken 6 was horrible online until it was patched. This game received no such patch.

@18CaStRaDoMiS89 how do you get the patch? I played it a few times and went back to tekken5 after i found the online play was complete rubbish! Only 2 players possible in ranked match, no country flag repping, etc. Simply not fun at all

@FTWheracross I was actually thinking a bit more into this,and I think why I dislike T6 isnt because of the gameplay,but more so because my first and only experience with it,was on the 360,The dpad was horrendous,I got beat so easily online despite the fact that I have the collective experience from T2 all they way to T5.this aggravated me,how easily these juggle happy clowns with laggy cons were beating me.So then I said to my self,I wont judge T6 until I play it on ps3 where it shulda stayed.

May I ask what kind of control you play with? is it an arcade stick? because I've asked a few people on live and they said they purchased an arcade joy stick to play better.But me I prefer d-pad,cuz I grew up playing tekken at home on the playstation and the dualshock controller.If you ask me the dual shock controller for the PS systems were perfectly designed for fighting games.thats why I was skeptical about T6 on 360,and I was right.

@Cr1ms0nRav3n when i started playing tekken, i started with tekken 2. i have no argument with the 360 taking tekken under its wing, but i work the d-pad. i do manage. not to toot my own horn, but i kick ass in tekken. even on the 360. but i would excell on the ps3. as i do on the psp. i am a proud owner of tekken 5,(w/arcade history) and tekken 6 on the 360and psp. if tag is available on the 360, i won't hesitate to purchase. oh yeah i use a 360 controller.

@FTWheracross Hmm,fair enough.and as for Jun being the same as Asuka,well if you look back Jun had much different throws than Asuka,in my opinion Jun and Asuka can be like Heihachi and Kazuya,both use the mishima karate style but at the same time they have their own unique moves as well as sharing a few.I doubt bringing back Jun would be a challenge for Namco.Also I believe Eddy has a few moves Christie doesnt,so yeah.Again one can only hope. :)

@FTWheracross and about Tag 2,what would make ME jizz is if every character introduced thus far returned,like Kunimitsu,devil kazuya/angel,Alex the boxing raptor,p.jack etc,along with new characters that arent so noob friendly like the new characters of T6,also if every "classic" character had an extra costume where they are young.A young paul.a young bruce a young kazuya etc.That would be epic.But I get the feeling namco isnt THAT generous,so for now one can only hope. :(

its indeed a dumb question, but i think you didnt know that this version of tekken is on the ps3. you can download it for $20,- from the playstation store. the playstation store is a online store where you can download games, demos or other things on the psp and ps3. however, you need a account in order to download anything from it. anyway, once you have downloaded this tekken and start it up, you can play online by selecting "online battle" at the main menu. i hope this is enough information

if you beat someone, except if he leaves, you have to fight him again of course. but its best for you to create a host, because if you dont want to fight the same person again you can just kick him. you can also adjust your host so that you can play for rank or without. anyway, feel free to add my psn. you seem like a nice guy. i am am destroyer eddy/feng
