(but far more easier than using advanced map.) you could place a person here or a patch of grass there or a house wherever. you could make people trainers with these pokemon, and they say this when the battle is over. @oubliet1 Of course it's not the same. You can count on Pokemon to introduce something new and cool (besides new species) with each generation! Keep in mind though, that Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platimum were all Special Editions, and that Heart Gold/Soul Silver and Fire Red/Leaf Green are the only "Remakes" in the series as of yet.

The 'special edition' games didn't do it for me, they were just the 2 previous games thrown into one (most of the time), and the only Pokemon game I thoroughly enjoyed was Emerald, because they introduced something new to the game. (Battle Frontier)

I just hope with this one, I don't have the same experience...

Well, that's what I think, the ONLY games that have only really caught my attention were Emerald, D & P and Yellow, because they released something new everytime, making the game more enjoyable for me.

I mean ok, I must admit, it IS pretty cool seeing new Regions and stuff and trying NOT to compare it to the previous game, but it's like trying to do an MMORPG review, WITHOUT comparing it to WoW, you just can't.
