Really like the video, and I also like the paper that you were using to write on. If you can I would like to see another video showing more of the pen itself and how well it flows on that paper your writing on. And would you say that the Parker Quink ink is the better brand???
Nice pen, just thought I'd say that when you say Mont Blanc you shouldn't pronounce the 'c', otherwise you may look like a fool in certain circles. :-) Genrally in french when you have a 'n' & 'c' together the 'c' is made silent. Oh and also the last letter of a word, unless it has an e after it, so it sounds more like 'mon blon'. Hopefully your find this helpful.
I never held that pen before but it looks similar to the 149 in length I think. But the 149 is a medium pen next to the MonteVerde Mega pens. That was a bit too massive for me.
i have one like this my mum gave me and i dont know how to fill it , she gave me a cartridge but i dont see how it fits in the glass chamber ??? i cant find any in mont blanc site
Are you sure it is the same pen? This pen can only be filled from an ink bottle and not a cartridge. To fill; insert nib section in bottled ink and twist the end of the barrel counter clockwise and then turn it clockwise with the nib in the ink. If it is a montblanc which takes a cartridge, I imagine the pen unscrews near the nib section .The smaller montblancs take cartridges as well as a removable piston filler.

Great pen. I've got a Pelikan 800, might upgrade to the Pelikan 1000 soon, will probably go with broad nib as well - love that bold, wet line

The montblanc meisterstuck 149 is probably one of the best fountain pens ever invented....well, that and the Pilot Custom 823

The 149 is the massive pen which is even bigger than the Meisterstuck Le Grand. I consider the Le Grand is a big enough pen.

@TonyDent84 so glad to see the name of "Pilot" here :D:D..
are you a passionate?
I am.. I would like to ask you and the others who read this to questions:
1) Would "Starwalker Precious White Metals (Doue)" be a good choice?
2) Where could I still find a Pilot Hi-tecpoint V7 Grip? (the older ones..)
Thank oyu very much and have a nice day!! Steve

I am also left handed. You must have the special nib right?
danemaricich13 2 years ago
No it is a right handed nib. All my pens are right handers. I find them ok...possibly because of the way I write.
