  • I found this video through Puppy Hill's facebook page, and I'm so excited!! OUR DOGS ARE BROTHERS!! Our dog is Levi (formerly Hammond) and it's really fun to see the similarities in how they run and play. Thanks for posting this!

  • @scoutygirlvt Thanks. Check out my Favorite Place video for more of the same. :)

  • They are so sweet! Aww

  • @tytheeman20 Right back at you. :)

  • What cuties...they look like really sweet dogs!! Thanks for sharing this with me.

  • @PaintedRavensong My pleasure :)

  • Your dog acts like the stick is alive lol. I envy dogs for their playful imagination.

  • What a happy video. Dogs really know how to have a good time. And yes, they know when you have saved them. Rescue don't buy from a pet shop or breeder. ALWAYS NEUTER / SPAY - In America alone we kill millions of unwanted dogs and cats each year just because there are not enough homes. ADOPTION IS A LIFE LONG COMMITTMENT. Adorable dog.

  • Cute dog!

  • This is my favorite video of yours. It leaves you with peaceful feeling

  • i got my pet from a shelter as well and you can tell they rly do love being rescued =) thanks for getting yours from a shelter, just a personal thanks from me to you =)

  • No need to thank me. There isn't a day that goes by that my pets don't thank me themselves. Their love and gratitude is a gift that humbles anything that I might ever have to offer them. :)

  • wow 2 awesome looking dogs looks like they hav alot of energy horses 2 wow

    RgB

  • Thanks for dropping by Rocci. :)

  • Thanks for the mention of the different ways to rescue animals, that is very important!

My household is ready and gearing up for another animal asap. :) My cousin is wanting a kitty bad... so, thanks for the reminder to think rescue instead of store bought.

By the way, I twittered both videos, I just had to share something this beautiful! :)

    Thanks again! :)

  • Oh, wow!

Man, you have to be a very loving person. I think that might be what I am feeling while watching these two videos. :) lol

  • I didn't realize how stressed I was until I started watching this and could not help but feel the stress falling away.

WOW! What a natural high! :)

Thanks and have a great weekend...

    AnnerPanner

  • What a nice comment. Thanks. :)

  • I'm back for a stress test! :)

This is great mental and physical therapy! How much are you charging per session? LOL

Thanks a million! I am going to send it out to my friends if that is OK...

  • If you like this video, then you probably would like the original video this one was fashioned after, Favorite Place. It's over in the sidebar.

  • they are having such a great time! thanks for the smile!

    very beautiful dogs

    xoexo

  • Lol...love the video, reminded me of our dogs when I was younger...really free & joyful! Particularly made me smile when Duke stopped chewing for a sec, looked at the camera, rolls & then gets back to having fun. ;-) Soundtrack great too. Thanks for uploading...favourited.

  • Thanks for the kind words & favoriting it. Yeah that one point of the video turned out better than I expected. The words in the song really fit about stopping to think about where you've been in life, especially since the dog had a rough start in life being dumped with his littermates in the woods before being rescued.

  • your dog plays fetch a little like mine. It will grab the object, come back half way, and then just sort of chill and taunt me lol

  • Maybe it's just me, but in the end credits I was hoping you'd give the names of your "stars."

Loved the video, though; just as I frequently love the comments you leave on political/news videos.

  • Well, I have to disclose that I had no part in selecting any of these names, but the dark dog is Remy, the white dog is Duke, the white & black horse is Oreo, and the two dark bay horses are AJ & Odds. Actually this is the last footage of Odds; he had a stroke a couple of months after this was taken, losing the use of one side of his body, so we had to have him euthanized. He was 32? yrs old and had lived a good life spending most of it retired with his small harem of mares.

  • Doggy joy is beautiful!

  • How SILLY!

  • i love this video, i rescued my pit/lab mix puppy named sebastian. it seems the rescue animals are always the best, for any species of animal. thank you for making this video made me happy haha

  • Thanks. Check out my "Favorite Place" video. It's similar to this one, but much better.

  • ok u replied fast! after watching this i went outside to nplay with my dog haha ill make a vid response for him maybe

  • Thats a beatiful video. All my cats have been from an animal shelter and if I will ever get another cat it will be one of those neurotic cats again.

    :)

P.S.: I love the desciption, especialy about the dogs being "crazy idiots" in the eyes of the horses. Had to laugh!

  • Thanks for the kind comment. And sorry again for your loss.

  • WOW... 5 stars! Lucky dogs to be able to have such a beautiful place to romp around! Thank you for rescuing them. Did you rescue the horses, too???? God Bless you and all your rescues!! xoxo

  • A couple of the horses are rescues. They didn't make it on the racetrack and needed homes. The rest are retired polo horses.

Thanks for the kind words. If you like this video, check out my "Favorite Place" video. It's very similar to this, but even better than this one.

  • I love this video. It's just so joyful. Every time I see it in my favorites list it reminds me to take time and go outside with big galoot Roy and little Miss Lilly and have PLAYTIME! Thanks for this!

  • I'm glad you like it. ^_^

  • beeyatch.. :O)

  • stalker :P

  • Rudy, Petunia and Milton want to thank you for entering Pet Video Contest #10. YAY!!!!!!

    5*

  • Where did you get your dog? Pretty dog

  • I got both of them as young puppies. The white one came from a rescued pet shelter in a neighboring town (he and his litter were dumped in the woods) and the black one was dumped on the road I live on (living in the country, that happens every so often). Some people are so pathetic. :( These dogs found a good home, but they were lucky.

  • Awesome as always! Would you consider rescuing me, too?? ;-) Hugzz

  • Aw, but if I could only take in all of the "wildlife" that I came across in need of rescuing....

  • aww!! your dogs are so cute!! it's just beautiful seeing them run around and having fun, enjoying themselves!

i haven't got any dogs or cats, but my auntie has two dogs and she got both of them from a shelter. the younger dog was very under weight and you could see her ribs, but now she is ok - altho she wolfs down her food in big gulps (in case anyone takes it) :-(

  • Both of these dogs have food issues. Going hungry when younger can really mess with their heads. Everytime they eat, they think it will be the last time. This white dog has the metabolism of a hummingbird. We feed him 3 times a day, and yet he's still really skinny.

  • i thought it would be the opposite... isn't it that when a body is deprived of food it tries to store it up as fat for later?

  • Fast metabolisms, like in hummingbirds & shrews, require near constant fuel intake to keep their metabolic engine running. Their bodies never get much of a chance to store fat because they're using up the fuel as fast as it comes in. The same thing is with some people who can eat all they want and not gain weight. Those fast metabolism people also tend to genetically have more "brown fat" than regular people in their torsos that encourages energy to be processed differently than regular fat.

  • But yeah, regular people with regular metabolisms who go without food do tend to store energy (get fat) easier (when they finally get food) than people with fast metabolisms.

  • i wish i had a fast metabolism sometimes! but maybe not that fast!

  • How freaking awesome! I love those dogs! Although, where is my baby.

  • Being an old man in the air conditioning.

  • Two very beautiful playful doggies :-)

  • HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!

  • Hehe, this is nice :)

  • Good to hear from you, Aljoša. :)

  • Those are two of the happiest dogs I have ever seen. Great video!

  • They are very happy, especially the white one, who's a bit of lovable goofball. We all should have it so good. Thanks for the comment.

  • Mans Best Friend.

Great to know you have each other.

  • I could watch this for hours, I don't know why it's so entertaining! You must have lots of fun with them.

Our dog, barely taller than a stretched hand, was trying to cross a busy street, a tummy covered in puss and a stomach ridden with worms, it took 4 separate sink-showers before all the dirt got off his fur. We called him Lucky.

N.Geographic's YT channel featured a very moving greyhound adoption program, it's a must see.

Thanks for the vid, hope to see more

  • I'm glad you liked it. :)

  • Aww, what happy puppies! Of course, they couldn't ask for a better human to take care of them! ;)

    Thanx for sharing, sweetie!

I hope you all have a great weekend! *smiles*

  • Thanks for the comment. You made my night. :)

  • Most excellent!

  • What a sweet Vid,your dogs are lucky to have found you

  • Thanks. And vice versa too. :)

  • Awesome, once again. What a feel good video.

  • Thanks. I appreciate the comment.

  • I sent links of the video to some friends. It really leaves you with a good feeling.

  • Thanks. :)

  • Think nothing of it.

  • What a beautiful place you have there. And such energetic dogs. They're very lucky to be able to run around like that.

  • Thanks. They're very happy dogs. They've got just about a perfect life since they found their way to us.

  • How old are they? They seem young, even for their size.

  • They're both just over a year old,...although the white one is like a little puppy when it comes to his maturity level. It's actually quite adorable. You get the sense that you have to protect him and his sweet innocence from the outside world.

  • great vid !so happy and full of energy :O)

  • Almost too much energy. I have to exhaust them so they crash for the night.

  • Quite a nice, large yard you have. I also had a large one, but I sold my home, and live in hotels, traveling. Is this a dalmation?

My first dog I got from a shelter who was just about to put her to sleep. She was a purebred dalmation.

  • It's not really the yard; it's one of the horse paddocks. The white one is a pointer from a shelter. He & his litter of 12 were found abandoned in the woods a little over a year ago. The dark one is a pitbull/lab mix that somebody abandoned on my road.
