while watching this video, I felt that I was really in the church and in that place. I have lived in the Abbey seminary college for a weekend. I really felt peaceful when I was there. God bless all you, all brothers, and all fathers.
There are so many faults with this recording. For a start it's far too slow, the parts start to drag and the melody becomes really stodgy as a consequence. Also you take it in a far lower key than any of the other recordings I've heard; this means that the wonderfully intricate harmonies start to become less audible. There aren't any alto parts. Despite the fact the fact it may seem too high for a male only choir, the piece was initially composed for a choir containing two male alto parts TB.

Interesting choice of music. Tallis, of course, composed before and during the Reformation in England in both Latin (for both RC & Anglican use) and English for Anglican Prayer Book services. This English language piece was for the latter as the vernacular would not have been sung in an RC Mass in those days. I tend to prefer his pupil Byrd's work more, but this piece is noble.
I can pick out my brother in this video a few times. God Bless St. Bens! There are a lot of people praying for everyone there going through formation, trust me. Y'all have plenty of prayers coming in.

In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allâh, (the) One
Allâh-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks)
He begets not, nor was He begotten
And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him
