HR's are overrated. Howard has put this team at a deficit in the standings once again this April with his shoddy fielding and sub-mendoza avg (.197).

His play in the field is often crucial to PHils losses although it has improved a bit this year. His arm may be the worst in the entire league.

Howard is causing the Phillies pain and suffering. $10 million for a guy who is on pace to again, surpass the 200K mark ( Howard set the MLB record last year with 199 ), and his abysmal batting average, and with runners in scoring position.
