@dannycurtean Thanks Danny- will shoot you a PM with a special price (too low to print), but we agree, it's a very special box- in fact, we liked it so much we purchased 2 of them for our uses here (one lives in the A-control room, the other one is in the B Studios). They are amazing, and really easy to dial-in a fantastic sound without much time or work.
I like the unprocessed sax and piano sound, because the it fits better to the mood and vibe of the music, and the EQ setting sucks dark color from it which I l particularly consider important of this type. Anyway we talking about tastes. Great recording!
Thanks for the comment. Absolutely, the choice is taste, but this EQ works in really wonderful ways to deliver exactly the tonal colors that you are looking for. I don't normally EQ classical music, and we did not EQ this one on the final release. However, I was impressed at what the EQ's capability musically. In the end, it lets you achieve whatever sound you are looking to match with your personal taste. Of course, monitors and high resolution playback makes a big difference too. Thanks!
I ment the muddy sax.

Lol! The muddy sounds much better. Only a beginner opens up everything and hear muddy stuff where there is no muddiness.

@suffpapst Everyone has their own sense of aesthetic... one man's "full" is often another man's "mud"... horses for courses and all that.
