I have an ipod touch which is an iphone without the "phone" part and well it's great for music and all but I'm but the texting sucks, plus it has this auto correct on it that just messes up your sentences lol..I mean laughing but it's highly annoying.

for entertainment get an itouch for a phone get a blackberry!

I see similar comments all the time the Bold, the Nokia e71..everything being compared to an i-phone. WAKE UP ! The I-Phone is for gullible media huggers. Its only just got 3G to much fanfare, whilst all decent new devices are coming out with 7.2mbps broadband speed HSDPA !!!!!!!!!!!! Whats the point in havig a media centric device like the i-phone boasting email and internet on the move when it can only download stuff at a miserable 3G rate AT BEST ?!

Can't wait for this to come out. I'm completely tired of my Windows Mobile phones and just want something that works. Having to install tons of stuff to get it the way you like plus having to hack the earpiece volume just isn't fun to me anymore. Plus the touch screen only aspect of my HTC Touch has lost its appeal. Touch screen typing just isn't fun and is a nightmare when you're trying to operate your phone in the car.

iphone still lags behind in some stuff such as bluetooth and it now has a plastic back which is prone to scratches which was a bad mistake on apples part.
