I work in an ALuminium smelter, and we have to wear full face masks with P2 class carbon/organic filters to protect us from flouride that causes industrial asthma if inhaled enough over time. It is nasty stuff.
The actual benefit to teeth comes from topical application to the surfaces of teeth and not from ingestion. The fluoride used is a toxic industry by-product from aluminum, steel, fertilizer, and nuclear processing plants. Its not natural. Personally i use non fluoride tooth paste. No problem with my teeth. i think Avaaz should be on board to help with this big problem.
I've grown up drinking fluoridated water and as a result I now have mild dental fluorosis. I am very grateful to the people that have and continue to go out of their way to inform us of just what this stuff really is, where it comes from and what it does, but most importantly WHY it's in our water.
