I agree with you, Peckham's nowhere near as shit as it's hyped up to be. It's got its problems but so have most other places in south east and north east London. People just like to squeeze it all in to one place. This year, I looked at the teen killings map recently and there seems to be this big blank spot that says SE15 on it. And then you got all those other places like Edmonton and Stamford Hill that are much worse but people can say them without shuddering. It's ridiculous.
