I watched an anime the other day where a girl who was 5ft 3inch ( I converted over from CM) and she was 43kg (thats 94.7lbs!!) and she was a wreck because she was 'heavy'... that is pure insanity, I am 120lbs and 5ft2inch and I see myself as slim.... Its the culture though. I am just glad I have a group of peers who sees nothing wrong with a healthy helping of collards and an extra helping of mac and cheese. I couldn't imagine not eating...

Why do black women feel good about being fat and then beg everyone to love them for who they are? That's not who they are. If you take the average black women, Asian, White etc at 5'4 200 pounds the black women will carry her weight better then the rest. If you take the average skinny black girl and compared her to a skinny white or asian girl the black girl is going to have more curves. ...umm skin bleaching is totally different from skin whitening (aka. brighting and illuminating). whitening is is a bit misleading concept because it's not suppose to lighten your natural skintone, it evens out your skin tone and diminishes hyper-pigmentation caused by sun damage. skin bleaching on the other hand IS dangerous, they contain suspicious ingredients (such as hydroquinone) that is suppose to change your natural skin tone radically.

@effik3 That's interesting. The culture is big on restraint and appearance, everyone is very mindful of being appropriate and socially acceptable. There is a big importance placed on clothing. I always thought that their diet was healthy and that's why most Japanese people are thin but it probably has to do with restraint in eating too. Don't they have a saying "only eat until you're 50% full"?

I love your attitude. I fall into the overweight category and I'm dieting almost primarily because I will be in Japan again (somehow!!) within the next few months or years and I don't want to have to deal with people making comments about me. I watched an anime the other day where a girl who was 5ft 3inch ( I converted over from CM) and she was 43kg (thats 94.7lbs!!) and she was a wreck because she was 'heavy'... that is pure insanity, I am 120lbs and 5ft2inch and I see myself as slim.... Its the culture though. I am just glad I have a group of peers who sees nothing wrong with a healthy helping of collards and an extra helping of mac and cheese. I couldn't imagine not eating...

If you take the average black women, Asian, White etc at 5'4 200 pounds the black women will carry her weight better then the rest. ...umm skin bleaching is totally different from skin whitening (aka. brighting and illuminating). whitening is is a bit misleading concept because it's not suppose to lighten your natural skintone, it evens out your skin tone and diminishes hyper-pigmentation caused by sun damage. skin bleaching on the other hand IS dangerous, they contain suspicious ingredients (such as hydroquinone) that is suppose to change your natural skin tone radically.

@effik3 That's interesting. The culture is big on restraint and appearance, everyone is very mindful of being appropriate and socially acceptable. There is a big importance placed on clothing. I always thought that their diet was healthy and that's why most Japanese people are thin but it probably has to do with restraint in eating too. Don't they have a saying "only eat until you're 50% full"?

I love your attitude. I fall into the overweight category and I'm dieting almost primarily because I will be in Japan again (somehow!!) within the next few months or years and I don't want to have to deal with people making comments about me. Just goes to show that even if I hit my goal weight it still probably won't be enough for the Japanese. It's very inspiring to see that you don't let that get to you though. Second, there no is justifying anything that white people have done. @H1MLA There are mixed people that purposely disregard their African American race. Therefore, they act like they are white and only white, even going so far as to insult black people. I know a girl that is exactly like this. She told me that on job applications she checks "other" as her race. She cant check white because a white person would laugh at her and she wont check black, so she checks "other". Sad. When the slave masters had kids by black slaves, those children were slaves too.

I have seen on TV many times that he has a white mother & black father. To be honest mixed/biracial is not a race because you can be mixed with a lot of things. Everyone is mixed with something. Personally, I am Carribean, African American, Native American, and Indian (from India). I look black so I just say black so its not confusing.

There is a war going on but he didnt start it; he is trying to end it. Human DNA has all the same characteristics, but we all have different genetic make up that ultimately calculates the type of person that we grow up to be. We are all people, but we dont all look, act, or think alike by any degree.

I like your video. To be honest I date a Japanese man at the moment and he says his own people are weird. He told me that even though they prefer the woman to be short and skinny. yet he says they like to watch american things with large breasted women and nicely shaped women.
