Well they do not say they are anti intellectual out right. However, today they are telling their kids to skip school because Pres. Obama is giving a speech on why staying in school and studying and working hard is important. They do claim science is made up and want creationism taught in schools which is nothing more than religious indoctrination. These people in this vid are protesting a tax policy that has been put in place by a repubican and blaming the current Pres. who gave them a tax cut.

Ok the speech is fine, but why does it have to be done in school wasting precious time that could be used for teaching. And I am a Christian but , I find your view flawed. Most Christians do not think science is made up, we just don't really like the fact that evolution and the big bang is taught as fact but it is only a theory. That to me is humanistic indoctrination. We should teach them together as opposing viewpoints and allow intellectual debate and free thinking. I didn't like Bush.

My experience has been the big bang was taught to me as a theory. I live in Cincinnati and my personal experience is a lot of these people do believe science is made up myths to disprove God. I would not say that the speech is taking away time from teaching when I was in school the teachers would teach for half the time they were allotted. Look at who is giving the speech a black man whose name sounds like Iraq Osama. If this guy can accomplish what he has anything is possible.

I'm sorry to hear that, but many Christians (I know) use science to compliment creation. Such as the creation museum. On the teachers I understand this from experience. Since teachers only teach half the time maybe they should get half the salary. Maybe they could reform education by making the teachers teach the full time. I don't care about his name or his color. It is about what he has done and plans to do.

Well I would like you to cite your source there. It is not necessary to have a college degree to own a business or to know a skill or a trade, such as a plumber, electrician, or construction worker. My uncle does only has a H.S degree and he started his own construction business. Now he has money to throw around. Thats because of hard work and determination, not for sitting on your bum feeding off the government.

I do not dis people with disabilities. There is a difference between people that have a disability and people who have as many kids with out a father or mother and see how big of a welfare check they can get. There are many people on welfare that could work but don't. Because they get a check. Thats the problem with socialism. It creates dependents. If it were up to me welfare would have a job training program for people that have an ability to work. And if they don't they don't get a check.

Cite your sources on the 99% please. You are slightly right, people with more kids do actually get more welfare money just not that much. Basically it does not create an incentive to have more kids. I don't hate people that are on welfare they need help. But not always through the government. How about charities, or free medical clinics? The goal of most social programs to provide basic needs not wants.
