  • Wooow brooo . that are some very pretty poles. We call them "Portalmast" :> <::::

  • Hes clothing has been grounded, morons.

  • Throw water on him I dare you, no wait I double dog dare you.

  • He should try out for the x-men

  • So what happens if you let go too quickly?

I've never really understood all this bonding business.

  • When you're doing that, do you feel the 60 Hz vibrations in your hands/body?

  • Voltage doesn't matter it's all about amperage

  • @SuperchargedMustang5 V = I/R would imply that they're both more than dangerous enough.

  • @SuperchargedMustang5 but volts overcome resistance, learn ohms law

  • @fairyheli2 i know ohms law i work with car audio car audio is all about impedence

  • @SuperchargedMustang5 true, but you need like 50v minimum or the amps wont get through the resistance of the skin

  • @SuperchargedMustang5

Its not that simple....Voltage does matter a lot. Current flow is governed by the voltage difference between the source and the ground and the resistance of whatever is between (See Ohm's law).

Additionally, Higher voltages are conducted better through skin than lower voltages and will arc further to get to you.

12V car battery (able to supply 120A to start a car) safe to short with hands.

240V mains (able to supply 13A) can easily kill you.

  • @kal9001 Couldn't of said it better myself. People will always say "50mA will stop your heart". Yeah while that is true your body has quite a high electrical resistance so a very high voltage will be needed to push any current at all to your heart. The Current is like the speed of water in a river, the voltage is like the width of the river itself.

  • Look up faraday cage . If you look closely both men who touch the live line are wearing faraday suits. With out going into to much detail extremely high voltage runs on the outside of the wire as to through the middle. As long as they touch the same phase or line not between two different wires the electricity goes on the outside of the suit. Mr faraday figured that out back in the 1836 or so.

  • that freaks me out. what a tough career.

  • Chuck Norris does that with his privates....

  • @Snoep76239 You people and your STUPID Chucky Norris jokes. Stop already, you morons!

  • @9b8 Yeah, that's what I though about the first 10,000 of them I read too. But they're on so many completely unrelated videos, (all by different people) it starts to get funny after a while.

  • try with both hands lmfao

  • @Nogard164 nothing will happen his second hand as well as his body is isolated.

  • Those lines bounce more than it looks like from down below!

  • think of the average amount of power moving through that phase o.o

  • How do they do that without getting electrocuted?? I'm not a scientist....

  • @DanLetts97 they can do that because they are not touching anything that makes contact to the ground.

  • Haven't barehanded yet, but looks like a kick in the pants! Lol!

  • Whoa!!

  • looks like The Emperor from Star Wars !

  • haha show off jus kiddin cool job

  • It measures current leakage through the insulated boom. Measured in milliampes.

  • What is the VON meter?

  • No, not one bit.

  • Does that hurt at all?
