Do attend a midnight premiere do you have to order the tickets then go there or can you buy the tickets when you get there please answer this fast i wanna attend the deathly hallows part1 midnight premiere
it was a good movie but not a good adaptation from the book. The end was the most disappointing. They completely cut out the battle because they said it was too repetitive since there is a battle at hogwarts in number 7. In the book harry was under his cloak and couldn't move but in the movie it looks like he just stands there and lets Dumbledore die. I didn't get the Burrow scene at all. The burrow is in the next two movies so it can't be destroyed.
nice review. I totally agree but I have a theory on why the made the voldemort stuff a secondary part of the movie and the romance the main part even though it was the opposite in the book. I think they did that because the 6th book is kinda a filler book and it would be really repetitive if the talked about horcruxes and voldemort constantly for 3 movies. Most of what harry learns from Dumbledore can be explained in the next two movies when Harry, Ron and Hermoine are looking for Horcruxes.
I LOVED this movie out of all others! We got to see more of what goes on while not in class and thinking about Voldemort! The romance was Brilliant!! And they cut the final battle because it will be too much like the FINAL BATTLE in DH!! They really did a great job of us truley knowing the characters!! I can't wait for DH! And of course things change like being under the cloak! Some things work in film and some don't !! GET OVER IT!!! All the shots of Hogwarts were amazing!! OVERALL AMAZING!!!
They actually did a horrible job on knowing the characters. Harry would never get with a random muggle girl at a diner and wouldn't bring a wizard newspaper to a muggle cafe. Should of been protected by the Dursley house instead to fit the situation of all the attacks. He also would never listen to Snape quieting him or just watch Dumbledore die. Hermione also wasn't as studious as she should of been because she found nothing on the Half-Blood Prince. Movie dumbed the characters to one dimension
For starters, they didnt go back and show the blood line of VOLDEMORT, they didnt show how Harry was so attached to his potions book, didnt show how they found out that Snape was the half blood prince until the very end, didnt show how Dumbledore stunned Harry under the Invisibiliy cloak when he was killed, and they didnt show the funeral of...I think not showing the funeral was an insult to his memory, and they didnt show the final battle.
I've read the books as well, but LOVED this movie so much more than others. After the disappointment of Goblet and Order, I felt this one was a breath of fresh air. The films usually /do/ leave alot out, but are still enjoyable. I'm just glad they captured what they could in this one, and did a great job re-introducing the characters. It was like steeping into Hogwarts all over again ^^'
I just felt like this was the truest-to-novel HP film yet. I hope Deathly Hallows won't disappoint.
Rofl. You talking about in the train? Read the book again Malfoy did petrificus totalus. If you're talking about at the end with Dumbledore, yeah he got stunned by Dumbledore so he wouldn't do anything. Read it again.
im a fan and have read harry potter 6 and i dont judge its hoolywood i regard the books as the books and the movies as the movies i love them both i loved all the harry potter movies
good re-view, I'm taking my family to see the film but I'll wait a few weeks, i have read all the books as well so like you there will be some things that may disappoint me, but in-all the films do make a good representation of the books
Thanks for warrning about spoilers.... I stopped it when you said to stop it... heh... I'm going to go see the movie Thursday. I haven't read any of the books, but I have enjoyed every Harry Potter movie. I'm sure I'll like this one too.

Yes we have the game for Xbox 360 because me and my brother are real fans, it's a pretty good game but the game play is fairly short.
