continuing...I was prepared at all times to make a hasty escape if I had to, and there were other safety features involved that I cannot explain here. I am a BIG proponent of safety and I make a point to pay above-average attention to "everyday" stuff too like eye/ear/respiratory protection, fire safety, and jack stands
Thank you. I would like to make clear that safety is an extremely important concern for me. While this may appear to be an unsafe operation, I assure you that I was completely aware of of any potential problems. The device was tested before I went under the car, and any concerns (and there were a few) were taken care of before the final lift. Also, this was always designed to be a "one time only" thing, and it was. The car was actually balanced fairly well most of the time as well.
i am not saying that you cant do it i saying that it shouldn't be done , especialy with large sections of they body removed because i am up to the same point with my dart doing the quarter and i am so scared that when i go to fit the new one that there will be alignment problems especially since the quarter is new and the car is 43 years old , hope it goes well for you you have more balls then me
Cool man thanx 4 putting in the time to read it. I will add you to the mailing list. The car is "stuck" at the body shop now with very slow progress so it might be a while before you see an update. The last guitar I bought was an Epiphone 12st that I love. See ya !!

Nice design and it works great, heck, I'm still trying to design a rotisserie for my Mustang, and I had the project for almost 18 years :(
