  • true plus the sublimables

  • Killing your TV is easy. Want a real mental challenge?

    Kill your Smart Phone

  • @CrocodilusPontifex You're right. I killed my TV 3 years ago, and it's really cool.

But to go back to your post, I must admit I consider quitting gsm for a while, and, it's really hard. Everything comes thru this now.

  • Another great reason NOT to have kids.

  • @MrBeautifulba1 check out my sex in cartoons upload lol

  • isn't it ironic? wouldn't u say a little 2 ironic and i really do say.

  • sledge hammer ur compupter join the cult.fuck ur smart phone.

  • Unplug the Signal!

The "SIGNAL" is the constant flow of information that is transmitted by the television 24 hours a day. When one continually controls the information, one controls the people absorbing the information. The manufactured and controlled information guides the masses to their conclusions and engineers society. In order to take back our minds, we must first learn to "Unplug the Signal."

  • GOD I LOVE THAT GUY....

  • TV has created boredom,

  • @TheAluminiumklorid the newspapers are run by the bankers also.

  • Great message!

Just kill the tube before it gets to you!

  • Kill the television

it's tellin' lies to your vision

  • We canceled cable 2 and 1/2 years ago and have never looked back. We still have a TV set, a 32 incher that I found at the dump for free, and we watch, very selectively, DVDs and tapes. That's it. We killed cable service.

  • so if they show ron paul on tv then everything he says is a lie as well?? i thought he was telling the truth but if they show him on tv it is considered lie?? someone help me out here im confused

  • @SirSmokeify I completely agree with it. What i'm saying is it's pointless to try to get people to stop watching. We're only getting worse, with texting, mobile internet. We're completely disconnected, and very addicted. It's going to take a a very devastating occurrence to stop this. We're selfish, greedy, attention whores, and i'm sorry, but you're wasting your time. If people want to watching the tube, let them, maybe they enjoy it. It shouldn't affect you, or at least you should't let it.

  • Yeah, while you're at it get rid of your computer, phone, newspapers, because it's the same thing. Give me a break.

  • ...

cut the cord off at the back of the set and hang it on your front door as a mark.

  • now there's a salesman? fact is a strangler of fiction...

  • The solution to the problem is exactly what they wanted to do in the first place. This propaganda tecnique is applied when the thing they want to do is too farfetched for them to do without the peoples "approval". That's why before all major events, you will see problem - reaction - solution in some way, shape or form on TV or in newspapers or any mass media for that matter.

    Any thoughts on this?

  • i'll present it hear for everyone to read. Let's do swine flu as an example, or 9/11, whatever. They need something to be done. But they can't do it unless the back them (otherwise we'd see they are full of shit). How? Create a problem, get everyone scared shitless by propelling an endless stream of dreadful reports on the news etc about the problem. The scared people now reacts, in fear of course, to the already manufactured problem. They will now turn to the governmenet for a SOLUTION.

  • I see people on here talking about "I've lived so and so long without TV". Look at you guys talking about it like it was a god damn drug addiction. That's how fucking powerful it is. And now people still can't live without it! It is actually too powerful for words, it's the ultimate propaganda tool, it can make people do anything they want. And i strongly believe it when i say this. Absolutely anything! the propaganda thecnique is called problem - reaction - solution. Google it and find out.

  • RIP TV Bullshit

  • We don't have any tv for now, and we don't really miss it either. I am doing fine without a tv, when I lived at my parents place before we married and I moved to where my husband lives I seldom watched much tv at their place. I found it not so interesting, somehow...

Now having a computer might also give us a lot of the same access or even more than the tv can give us, so we should all be also careful with the time spending on here too. ;-)

  • I haven't watched television at all in 10 years as of next month. I haven't missed a day of it! The next thing to go is youtube! lol It's rather hypocritical to sit here & watch youtube & condemn television . . . so it's time to quit.

  • @rollled.. It's official.... As of today my boob tube is dead.. I feel happier already.. I've had a steady almost daily diet of it's toxicidity for way too long..(too many hours). I feel renewed path of creativity, self awareness and understanding. All of my own making...not shaped by corporations and society. Looking forward too reclaiming my true self.

Thanks for the inspiration. Peace and Love

  • I made up my mind... My TV is dead already.... Salvation Army can have it.. I'm ready to set my mind free.. I have AT& T Uverse..i swear there's a hidden cam inside the receiver.. I can leave my house and leave the tv on and return 3 hrs later and the cable is off... It doesn't shut off on it's own when i'm home. W T Heck is that? BIG BROHAM.. I'll miss Pbs

  • @jonabay.... How does it feel after 4 years? I'm giving it some serious thought. I envy those who have kill it. Now i see it as a constant stream of negativity.

  • Yawn

  • look im american and i knowt there secrets i hope you do 2

soon they are gonne kill 80 procent of us in the world a new world order

we will be sithing in camps or live brainwashed in a city that shit is fuckt up cuz you dont know nothig about it they keep us brainwash in our country with fake news and radio and terorists are not even real in here its all made up now listen this is your only chance go to youtube and typ illuminati then you watch these videos

  • @eazyreccords117 your on the right path keep seeking truth.

  • LA Times reporter JOEL STEIN:

"As a proud Jew, I want America to know about our accomplishment. Yes, we control Hollywood. Without us, you'd be flipping between "The 700 Club" and "Davey and Goliath" on TV all day."

  • hahhahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

  • TV is boring, video games are the only interesting thing you can do on TV

  • @IfureadthisURdum study the sublimable evil shit now in video games

  • I killed my TV 4 years ago

  • XD but you still have your computer

  • @IfureadthisURdum

The internet is not nearly as censored as the television, Not YET anyways. When internet 2 comes in, it will.

At least on the internet people can make their own videos like this one, and have open discussion on forums. The TV is just pure propaganda. So is hollywood. All of it owned by just a small handful of people.

  • The other right, hahahah

  • oh how silly of me! it's right there in the right hand corner! DOH!

  • is this a movie called network?

  • I also like to say, like what is brought up in a South Park episode; it's not about stop drinking alcohol, but to restrict the drinking to the level of addiction and damage. It's OK to drink if it contributes more than it damage, as is TV: if you're very aware of what you watch. I can imagine that might be hard in the US, as everything is propaganda (yes?). But this really isn't only about the TV. The TV is the first step NOT to get MORE brainwashed, then it's the next steps.

  • no matter how many times i see it i love this brodcast... thanx for posting it. five stars.

  • There are only 6 MEGA Multinational corporations OWNING all of media, ALL media(magazines, newspapers radio, tv sattelite, cable... bought up.

IT is all owned, no 'reporters' left in this country only corporate controlled REPEATERS

  • soooo, im confused. Should we kill our Television?? Or all electronics, cellphones. ipods, Game systems. Wow it just hit me

(throws hd flat screen into bathtub)

  • I honestly believe most electronics has a hard time dying, but I tell you that it seems like, based on "hard evidence", that most to all electronics sends out frequencies that may and will, depending on its power usage, etc, disturb your brain process.

  • cable, satelite dish, video games, hollywood movies,.. Even the internet. Its all the same. They are all in the same boat sailing us to the same place and i'm sad to say that its too late for us to do anything about it. I wish things were different but the majority of the human population have been brain washed accordingly for their evil plan. Unless we all see the whole picture and do something we're all doomed. Thats not likely to happen.

  • I got rid of cable... had to keep it for the Simpsons dvd's though. I'm only human.

  • "Network" 1976. This movie blew my mind.

  • what show is this from? its awesome, its so true!

  • I want to kick start a turn off your tv day....just to let them know that we can, anyone wanna help?

  • just get rid of your TV entirely, that's what I did

  • thanks for your comment i appreciate it an awful lot, but i need someone with your balls to get some kind of movement going. I know i will be big in the future but now i need someone to help show me the way

  • @smitty121981 i use my tv to play video games though XD

  • is he talking about youTUBE? lol

  • I love this speech

    it's so true

  • WORD!

  • Dis days, in my country was very hot, is rare, where i live is only warm in day time and in nigth time is very cold, if Golbal warming is a scam, i hope the regular cold and warm temperatues get back to normal.

  • YOUTUBE!

    RULE!

  • Well, We got some truth here. GLOBAL WARMING IS A SCAM

  • So you're a scientist now?

  • Fantastic video.

  • i don;t watch t.v anymore but i can;t get my hands off of my computer and internet =0

  • try this everyone turn off all of your electronic devices for a week to two weeks and then come back to it you just might get a headache from all of the crap you have been attched to for years....no tv no comp..no radio even just read things of your choice to stay connected and the world will be a different place to you!

  • the smartest thing i ever heard....

  • Had a TV till today. Last time I watched TV. I was bombarded for what seemed like forever, this freakin stupid, forced into my living space, dumb-assed commercials from every dip-shit product we already are over-informed with shit again! That was it, fuck this! Today the TV went to the Salavation Army, what a relief, I've got a hell of a good book to read. Now that's peace. I killed my TV.

  • im with you

except i kept my television for videogames

  • Right-on! I went an got a same size as my computer flat screen just for DVDs: my pick vid time-kill use.

I'd, I...would try to dig games but don't know where or how to start: Some simple ground rules would be cool, if you've the time to tell, really.

Cable kills, Game? I hope not the same. -Peace.

  • @k2aileron ~ if i could "thumbs up" this about 20 more times, i would ~ well done!

  • I don't even own a television anymore... but discerning, learnt individuals should be capable of sifting out relevance, logic and in most cases truth.

  • Then there is the other half of the bell curve.

  • I'll still watch some things, like the Science Channel, History Channel & HGTV, but for the most part, I go online for news. This video is absolutely perfect for the craziness of this presidential election season.

I'm actually expecting to see the Rev. Wright perform an exorcism on Chris Matthews on Hardball on national TV so that we'll get to see what that "tingle" was that went up Tweety's leg when he listened to Obama.

  • thanks for posting, i love this version with the subtitles.

network & they live. 2 of my fav movies.

  • I agree that god is bull but the heart of what he is saying is definitely truth. TV is ruining us. It is shaping us and our behaviors in unfortunate ways.

  • evolution is bullshit.

    do we still ride horses?

do we still walk to the river for water?

do we still have houses made of clay?

    and the answer is no.

books, newspapers, and our way of lives WILL be changed in the future, there's nothing we can do, all we can do is adapt to the changes

  • I don't understand your point. You said evolution is bullshit yet you are saying that we evolve. Which is it?

  • i meant evolution as darwinism.

  • I don't think Darwin's Theory of evolution means what you think it means.

  • Thats true, it's one thing to adapt, but about when we become dependant on these changes??

  • I unplugged my tv/satellite just so I could read more often. I have quit the game.

  • but your still on the internet watching youtube. where are your books?

  • Yes, I'm still using the internet and Youtube. But they don't take precedence over my other activities. Youtube is much like television, but you control what you watch--to some extent--and is highly subjective. I imagine some people use it as a TV away from TV.

I don't watch entire episodes of TV programs on here. I usually listen to music or find a good interview.

  • most cable tv shows do rot your brain, But there are exceptions. I love the history and other learning channels i always get into those. but your right a little reading never hurt anybody lol

  • Your right...They do have some good shows...like on PBS. The main thing bad about TV is the "news" channels and shows. I have come to accept the fact that I should believe in the mass media as much as I would believe in the information coming from the government controlled media in china. I get sick to my stomach when I see what junk is on tv and especially all those news shows. I need a bag to vomit.

  • I'm not gonna watch tv anymore. Actually I don't have one. Never will I buy one I promise myself. Internet freedom forever!! Support net neutrality. Don't let them take control of the internet.

  • but by definition, the internet dose the same thing. youtube is tv, your becoming lazy.

  • True, in the sense of physical activity, but there is much more choice and control on the internet. I don't see any ads I don't want to. I choose to watch only segments of certain programs. I have a lot more sources of information and I do a lot more reading, interaction, and thinking on the internet as oppose to tv. Even on youtube there are discussions about everything, and interactions. Lots of thinking, reading, understanding, and connecting to other points of view. Plus no corp strong hold.

  • I got rid of mine some time ago and, believe me, my life is a lot better.

As Henry Rollins said, the message of TV is simple, "here you are you dumb pieces of shit, this is all you're worth."

Are you worth more than that?

If so, you know what to do. Throw the TV in the bin and go and make some friends instead.

  • yeah sure, the tv lies to us...

UNLESS it's showing us planes going into steel buildings like a hot knife through butter... When it does that it's 100% trustworthy and believable, isn't it?

  • i think this was made nowadays just with the old look and good actors... they just want it to look like he already knew it 30 years ago...

    but anyways, it's good!!

  • Obviously, the corporate giants see that the Internet is the New Television, and are putting their grubby paws all over it. Kill the TV, and keep the internet in the hands of the normal people.

  • I refuse to get web tv. what movie is that? it's featured on Zeitgeist "the movie". I want to know. Could you tell me please?

  • It's "Network"

  • what movie is this?

  • who the fuck is this CHUMP? why should i listen to this guy.

  • It's a monologue from a movie that is what almost 31 years old. The guy is an actor. Much like the rest of youtube you aren't required to listen.

    Free will still exists.

  • Because nobody read books then, and it's worse now; Everyone is spoonfed corporate propaganda, and no one thinks for themselves. Other than that, no reason.

  • well my head is always working, trust me i ish i could turn it off sometimes. and i always smell what is on the spoon before i put it in my mouth.

  • @carbiduis I thought i read this was the owner of that station before they sued or corner him out of his business. Something like that, like he was the owner of fox before it became fox.. *Totally not sure if thats true but it was another video series here thats longer. I think zeitgiest? Anyhow...i gota see it again now!

  • if ur on the computer its the same shit turn of ur computers too

  • The Internet isn't TV yet ...

  • yet... they're working on it. Be afraid. Very afraid.
