  • a very Claptonish sound and style. Loved it!

  • props dude. Love the guitar tone.

  • wow, you're very good.

you've got a very good sound and the guitar too.

  • Where you been man? I haven't seen a new video in ages. Hope you are well man.

    Shane :)

  • Long live the 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Guys hes not playing just any strat...Its a 50th aniversary strat-they have 54 custom pups, 2 piece ash bodies, and a solid maple neck. They are considered among the best limited edition strats ever.

  • I don't like the sound of the American standard strat, but Kas you can play hell out of ANY strat! You sure that's not vintage? :) Cool sounds yet again man.

  • good times i enjoy the blues

  • I need an American Strat. Sold my '57 to Norman's Rare guitars - life's only regret.

  • Awesome playing, bad camera!

You really have a feel for blues!

  • do happen to like fender by any chance? na im just kidding :)

  • Great tone and very nice playing!

  • with blues you get to play with some much emotion and expression. with metal and rock its just wide open. blues is so much fun to play.

  • i completely agree!!! i dont listen to blues, but it is by far my favorite thing to play on guitar. and there is no better guitar to fo it on than a Fender guitar. rock on!

  • awesome...... this guitar was born to play this type of music.

  • you said it

  • It sounds very nice and you play it very good.

    5 points

  • hey.how can i found the music played at the back...i think its gp5_?

  • nice men..

  • Is it an american series strat which features ash bodied and v54s pickups??

  • yep

  • Great blues. Very tasteful note choices.

  • is that a two or three tone sunburst?

  • It was a 2 tones sunburst... ;)

  • Can't wait :)

  • Nice dude, very nice!!! A bit short though :)

Would have loved to see you go on like that for a while longer. Nice tone too

    Regards

  • thanks mate... I'm preparing a new video soon. ;)

  • Yes, you are right but it's hard to get a Blues feel without pentatonic/mixolydian scales. I'm still searching for the alternative after 45 yrs of playing.

  • i have that same guitar i love it.

  • hey dude, ive heard u can get these tapes called the never ending blues, where a bass and drums keep playing the 12 bar blues over and over again, do u no where i can find one?

  • You mean drum machine like Boss DR3 ? try this. ;)

    I used mp3 backtracks.

  • whats so special in the 50th anniversary strat besides from the neckplate? anybody?

  • really nice, long live to the blues.

  • It's kinda funny, I also play a Strat almost like yours, wear a white wifebeater and I'm also kind of skinny like you. No offense! :D

  • nice playing dude, lmao you look liek james franco form spiderman lamo keep it up dude

  • you have 50 american strats?????? haha just kiddin! awesome playing dude

  • well played, that amp sounds crazy dude, which one is it?!

  • jeez man, that was awesome! keep up the great work.. makes me wish i could play guitar!

  • i love that guitar with a rosewood fret board, warmer tone in my opinion but the amp is what really matters

  • You have such beautiful emotion in your playing!

  • thanks ;)

  • I put a video up of my Deluxe 50th Strat (gold) love it too. Great playing man, always impressed when I watch your video's. You got the feel down.

  • Ahhh, I can see you can't help smiling when you play the blues, me neither ;)

  • He's having fun AND playing with feeling, that's what the blues is all about. This is making me smile just listening to it :D

  • mmmmmmmm where are you from???

  • France ;)

  • aaaaaaaaaa i love french man!!!

anyways..you're blues is very good..i realyy like this video..

  • thanks ! ;)

  • yeah

  • yeah

  • I got the 60th anniversary strat. i cant get my strat to sound close to how yours sounds. i love blues like this, and i want to learn to play like this. i am now inspired to practice as much possible and to learn blues like that. thank you.

  • we are in 2007 -_-? i got my 50th anniversary strat' in 2006. how the fuck can you have a 60th anniversary in 2007... the fender's 60th anniversary will be in 2016. but anyway

  • The 50th anniversary are for the model of Stratocaster.

60Th concerne the birth of the brand Fender. So, he's right. ;)

  • what are u talking about? ive got the 90th anniversary LOL maybe the poor soul meant the 60's replica

  • Wich speaker is that?

  • god damn i love blues, long live the legacy of SRV!!!

  • Am I the only one who thinks maybe this guy isn't really playing?

  • Tsssss...If you're not sure, watch my other videos. ;)

  • Yes, I have seen the other videos ("Digitec Hendrix" is great) and it's obvious that you are playing...you are a huge talent (trapped in a small apartment). There is something about THIS video that looks fake, just wondering if anybody else noticed it. Really, though, watching you play has inspied me...Now I want to get rid of my PRS, stop trying to learn VH tunes , buy a Strat and learn blues.

  • It was my first videos... I had a shitty web cam. I agree the quality is crap...

You got a PRS ??? Hey, great guitars ! ;)

  • so did i

  • Thats a proper bit of guitar playing. Nicely done!

  • Omriee's right- You're playing with feeling rather than at top speed like all these Trivium fan boys who think that being a good guitar player is all about how fast you can play.

You sir- Prove them ALL wrong

I keep trying the blues, but it always ends up as something else- Like what Rivers Cuomo of Weezer would play

  • dude you play softly which is awsome!

  • Elles sont bien ces petites 50th anniversary hein ? ;)

    Well done^^

  • Nice job.

  • DUDE, NICE GUITAR, I HAVE ITS BROTHER, THE ROSEWOOD, its soo awesome, soo much SRV sound to it, I love it

  • the first person ive ever seen like the blues and wear a wife beater

    haha and excellent playing too!

  • T'as ça dans le sang, très bon blues

  • if u were black id call u bb

  • you are great dude!

  • You're playing with your hart not with your head.. Thums up! xD

  • thanks... ;)

    You've just defined the blues.

  • Hey! like it a lot!

    Must start to play myself...

    Where's the background from?

Anyone with some links for download?

  • the links are in my profile... ;)

  • the blues king

  • awesome

  • France??? wow, that was sweet dude, i thought you were from mississippi or texas

  • thanks... ;)

  • I'm trying you know... but it's like stopping to smoke... Too hard, and i always came back on penta... :D

  • Keep that Amar Sundy feel going Kassad62! You'll soon be jamming with him. You've got a great tone which is just right for Blues. I just got my 1973 Strat back after having a complete re-fret. It feels great and has a slim neck like your one.

  • Very NICE

  • Absolutely MINT!

Have a look at TwelvestringTrev's video clips. You might like them?

    Cheers!

  • Haha nice, but put on something besides a wifebeater when you go on stage :-)

  • very good :) I like it !

  • exellent phrasing, dude. really enjoy your playing.

  • damn dude.. that was sick!

  • blues is always good! nice!

  • Good job man, keep it up. Good take on the little Clapton lick you use.

  • Oh yes....coming from an OG, 55 years of age....bitter and contemptuous of clubs and playing....I still go good stuff when I hear it. I prefer the tele thinline, tele custom, and tele deluxe but that's me. You got the chops to move forward. Where you based out of? Maybe we might meet? I still play irrespective of my contempt for the bidness. Keep it up.

  • Thanks.

I live in France, and music is jsut a hobby for me. I play at home, that's it... ;)

  • It's time to head for Chicago,Kassad!

  • one word, AWESOME! Way to go! Keep it up my man!

  • Im diggin it

  • This is much better because there is more expressive content. But yet, there are still spots where you just toss of licks for seemingly no reason. If you got a phrase or a note or a sequence, make sure it works for you and goes home tired and sweaty. Your tone and technique are pretty damned killer, though. Just needs a little extra something for the next level. Keep pushing.

  • thanks pal !

    ;)

  • ^skilled.

  • Really nice!

    Cheers!

  • dang.. that was nice

  • funny, i have your guitar and that backing track. i jam to it all the time. try the roland cube 60 or 30.

  • Blow me away! You really are a great blues player! Please keep posting your music, I really enjoy watching you play and love listening to your blues. Your phraseing is out of this world. Thanks for making my day!

  • nice...

  • Great stuff Kassad62! I'd rather listen to you than 98% of the so called music they put out these days. Please keep playing, love music that has depth and feeling. 5stars!!!

  • Hey thanks.

I'm so upset, i can't play since a week because of a wound on one of my finger.... damn !

  • sweet!

  • Tu joue bien faudrait se faire un jam un des quatres :)

  • hey, pourquoi pas ! J'ai vu ta video de little wing, j'avais pas fais gaffe que t'etais francais (merci internet...). Tu as un super son je trouve. ;)

  • Right on, bro.

  • What amp are you playing through? How long have you been playing?

  • Vox Valvetronix AD60VT.

I play since i'm 16. And now, i'm 31. But i didn't play for a few years. I'm back on music since 2 years. I bought my first strat and sold my old Gibson Les Paul. The Stratocaster is THE guitar to play blues (to me of course...)

  • Hi. I have the AD30vt. i love it. are you using the blackface setting or the tweed? i would think tweed...

    nice playing btw, good stuff!

  • Thanks pasl !

Hmmm... i'm using the tweed on this ! ;)

  • I think the "Valvetronix" is better suited than the Roland Cube...at least for a Strat. I've got a Roland Cube 60 and i can't obtain a sound like that on it. (Even with my rare '73 Fender Strat) Fender & Vox go together perfectly! Always have since the early 60s.

  • Magical playing dude. GR8 tone too. Respect... just off to smash my guitars into tiny pieces.

  • nice,:-) and,again :p, great sound:p (hehe currently watching all your video's :-))

  • thanks... :-)

  • That's awesome stuff. Keep it up!

  • This is really nice to listen to. Ace playing man!

  • You play some great Blues!

  • Cool!
